Very nice
Works great! Holds a lot of weight. Very sturdy and durable! Heavy enough it does not tip over.

Works and looks great.
Product is easy to build and came in a decent time frame. I night 2 for my young children and my daughters hammock chair works great with it but my sons booty hits the bar on the bottom. I purchased these due to how tall they were so they the hammock chairs wouldn’t be to low. They still are very low to the ground but that is not the stands fault just the very large chairs we put in them.

Instructions Were Wrong
We opted for a stand for our hammock chair so we could move it around the pool. We chose this style specifically so there's no stubbing of toes. It's not too heavy to move once it's assembled. I can do it myself (45 yo female).Assemby was fairly easy for me to do alone. HOWEVER there is a cross bar that goes on at the end, for which the directions specifically say "make sure the arrow points upwards." This was not the case and it took me too long to realize the bar needed to be flipped. Might've been a fluke, but just be aware. I was glad the stand came with mounting hardware and a chain, although we didnt need the chain. The final product is sturdy enough to feel secure in swinging. Expect creaking and slight movement of the bars overhead. I didn't expect that. It's no big deal, and I'm sure some lube will help with the creaking. For the price ($99) it serves its purpose. We'll see how it holds up over time.

Yes..... and, No for me
Arrived well-packaged and all pieces were protected - yup, every one. Assembly, well WOW! IKEA-style... No words, not even on the parts/pieces side. We just hoped we had everything and started. There are pieces not identified in the package, but if you are a detailed-oriented picture-reader, you will figure it out. In case that doesn't describe you, well there are a couple of "feet" that are shown as already assembled onto the bottom of the base bar (or whatever you decide to call the back piece that sits on the ground/floor). You will want to pull them from the very bottom if the pieces bag and put then in place before starting the assembly for ease and protection of your assembly surface. Please pay particular attention to each vertical-ish side bar and it's letter label - IT DOES MAKE a difference which bar goes on which side but you will only discover that when you are nearly finished with the assembly and it is time to fasten/secure the side posts to the base with the lower horizontal bar. If those supporr bars are switched, your screw holes will NOT align and you don't want to know how much unscrewing and rescrewing you are about to do -ugh! (insert unhappy IKEA-faced man here). So, in reviewing the assembly, take your time and keep your sense of humor. Once it is together, it is solid and sturdy and ready for your seat. HERE is the sad face man again... If you have a traditional hammock chair like we do (& it is listed/shown on the Amazon listing), you can go ahead and just take a seat on that vertical crossbar that caused our stress earlier. The person testing swing was young & thankfully flexible 140# 6'2" slim build young adult with a terrific sense of humor. We switched it out for traditiinal basket-style chair and nearly the same thing happened. Our sad realization... This stand simply is NOT TALL ENOUGH for many style hanging chairs.Fortunately for us, this young, flexible, goid-humored, assembly, seat-testing young man was also an Eagle Scout with a vast knowledge on knot tying. After modifying the original hammock rope chair design, he was able to sit in the swinging chair and get out of it without using any kind of "tuck & roll" strategies. Now, even the heaviest of ones who have dared to take on the hammock seat @ 220#, way too old & most definitely not flexible (sense of humor is debatable...) has done so without hitting the ground and with grace & decorum (mostly). The swing stand is sturdy and, after modifying the swing seat itself, is getting great use. That being stated...biggest complaint is that, with this style of hammock seat, there is a horizontal cross bar at the top that acts as a way to hold swing open as well as to distribute the weight of the sitting person and that bar hits the upright bars of the swing stand therefore limiting the range of the swing's "pivot-ness" and yes, that was a Ross-reference about the inability to "PIVOT" 360° if using a swing that includes a high horizontal bar in it's design. So, you may wish to choose a different style of swing, or if you already had the swing chair as we did, you may wish to choose a different style of frame/stand, or brush up on your knot-tying and accept a less than 360° kind of rest... Your call. After assembling, disassembling, reassembling, and then modifying the already owned hammock seat, there is no way we were about to undo everything and return it. [not to mention that you have to destroy the box to open it]We have had lots of laughs retelling our nearly all-day adventure assenbling this thing. We have adjusted to the modified design of the chair, we have accepted the limited pivot range, inserting pillows into the swing helps raise any victims and we fondly have named this most-loved resting/reading area "Carl"Recommend? Hmmm, it's too soon to answer that without emotions getting involved. Probably though....Just be ready to adapt, improvise, and overcome. A sense of humor is helpful, if not essential. Just pay attention to heights, style of swing, rotation preferences, and little details like that.Signed,Carl's Mom[if you are old enough, that is totally a Juan Epstein reference -Mis' ter Kott air']

Safety Concerns! Not sturdy. Off balance and cheap welding,
This product seriously concerns me. The welding came off right when we were installing. The stand is off balance and also the top part does not fit properly in the slots. Two people wasted 3hrs trying to put it together but eventually gave up; that's when we noticed the welding of the section we did put together was already coming off. And mind you this is even before any swing whatsoever was even close to it! God forbid what would have happened if we ended up somehow putting it together and then having major injuries! I saw there was another review by a lady about injury due to this product and I absolutely agree with it. Amazon if you guys really pay attention to reviews, you got to take this product off of your shelf!

Stunning
I couldn't have purchased a better base for my hammock chair. It wasn't the most exciting thing to put together and it took about an hr but it's beautiful

Easy to assemble and sturdy!
After reading the other reviews, I was a little hesitant to purchase this stand. However, I'm glad I did! My box was neat up and did have an open hole in it which scares me at first because I didn't expect all the pieces to be included. I saw reviews saying there were no instructions. I'm not someone who topical is things together but I follow directions well so I was really happy to find instructions with detailed pictures. I took everything out and all items were accounted for. The instructions were super clear so putting it together was really easy. The only problem I ran into was tightening the screws. The little tools they give you work but I used my husband's tools that made it faster. Brought it outside and hooked up my swing and it's PERFECT! Being that I'm about 220lbs I was nervous to sit in it first so my 100lb daughter was the Guinea pig. It held up so I got in and there was no difference! I'm going to spend all my time outside now! Super happy with my purchase!
