Love it!
I was very happy with my purchase. I ended up ordering multiple times from this company. The quality of the fabric is great and the price is well justified. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a little faster shipping time. Other than that, though, its definitely a great purchase!

Color darkens in sunlight, washes out in rain, snow
The burlap arrived quickly and in excellent condition, and I was pleased with the free shipping. It came in a cardboard box packed in sheets of brown paper, which seemed like wasteful packaging, after all it's only cloth. But I can recycle the box, and the brown paper makes great garden mulch under grass clippings. The quality of the material is good and as expected. The color (wheat), was true to the computer image on my iBook. HOWEVER, it is turning more tan and darker where the sun hits it, hanging in my carport. One might expect color to fade in the sun, but turn darker? Not what I wanted! I checked the website and there was no mention of the color changing in the sun. Because color was a big deal to me, I'm dropping my rating of 5 stars to 4.UPDATE 1/26/12By now, all the color (dye) has washed out of the burlap by the rain. I could tell because it had formed a line along the ground right under the hanging burlap. I've taken it down, because it looks too drab. I recommend you do not buy this material if the color is important to you. And I'm dropping my rating to 3 stars.

Do not skimp on quality when it comes to burlap
Worst burlap I"ve ever purchased, by far. The individual fibers are loosely woven, which causes the fabric to look frayed and messy. And when you make a cut, you end up losing 1-2" of fabric due to the unraveling and fraying. The worst part of this burlap though is the SMELL..... Awful is an understatement! Smelled like straight mildew and rotten fish :(

Hey, it's burlap!
Great, thick, burlap. It's burlap, not sure what to say. I used it for a crafting project, and it was a good find, made a great addition to the mason jars as a cover for all-natural body products. There was a lot of it, and now it's being used in our garden as a weed mat: so far, no weeds!

Ideal burlap for any burlap project.
I bought it to make Halloween costume for my baby. I made a bag for money from it. You better see it on attached pictures. I sew this fabric on my home sewing machine. And from leftovers I made a frame for jewelries. I sew laces to burlap fabric and after I glue it to cardboard. And also I used this fabrics for making Christmas ornaments but unfortunately I don't have pictures of it.

A portion cannot be used
Someone has written numbers and marked on a good size portion of the fabric which renders it unusable for the craft which it was purchased for. Otherwise, it met expectations.

The smell can kill you.
The smell others point out is JP8, diesel, or kerosene - all basically the same. All known carcinogens and you should not be handling it or breathing the fumes specifically indoors. This should not be used for crafts or any other residential use.
