A folded towel can leave dressing blotchy, while hand-applied wax and leather conditioner can lie unevenly. This microfiber applicator helps spread product evenly for controlled application and even coverage while reducing waste. The soft foam core holds liquid and provides gradual release as you spread product evenly. A bumper, seat panel or painted surface gets a thin uniform coat. The microfiber face helps to avoid streaks on vehicle surfaces like a dashboard, vinyl surfaces, paintwork, and plastic trim. These work with nearly everything in an application step: paint sealant, wax, trim dressing, tire dressing, leather cleaner and conditioner, and interior protectant. Work a small amount onto the pad rather than the surface, spread it in overlapping passes, then wipe any excess with a clean towel. Keep one Chemical Guys applicator pad pad for exterior trim and tires and one for interior panels, leather and seats. Rinse after use, machine wash warm with detergent only and skip fabric softener. At roughly 5 by 3 inches, the compact, hand-sized pads reach tight spaces, door jambs, mirror caps and wheel spokes. Use them on cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs and boats." ## Features - Foam Core Pads Spread Product Evenly: The soft core of this foam applicator pad holds sealant, dressing or conditioner and releases it in a thin uniform layer, which is what a folded towel physically cannot do - Use Them For Sealants, Dressings And Leather: Applicator pads apply wax, paint sealant, trim dressing, leather cleaner and conditioner, and interior protectant better than a towel or bare fingers - Two Pads So Jobs Stay Separate: Dedicate one tire shine applicator pad to exterior trim & tires and one to interior surfaces, because a pad that has touched a sidewall should never go near a dashboard - Reusable And Machine Washable For Years: Rinse the microfiber pads after each job, wash warm with detergent only and skip fabric softener, and they hold their softness through many sessions - Sized To Fit A Hand And Reach Tight Spots: At roughly 5 by 3 inches this car wax applicator pad covers a bumper efficiently and still reaches door jambs, mirror caps and the gap behind a wheel spoke - Completes the Chemical Guys Application Kit (MIC_292_02): Apply VRP or Silk Shine to plastic trim, Butter Wet Wax to paint, and Leather Conditioner to seats, then buff with a plush microfiber towel ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B00BJCN7Z8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,955 in Automotive (See Top 100 in Automotive) #30 in Cleaning Cloths | | Brand Name | Chemical Guys | | Color | Workhorse Light Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (14,384) 4.7 out of 5 stars | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00816276013855 | | Included Components | Chemical Guys MIC_292_02 Premium Grade Microfiber Applicator, Blue (Pack of 2) | | Item Dimensions L X W X Thickness | 5"L x 3"W x 1.5"Th | | Item Type Name | Microfiber Applicator | | Item Weight | 0.05 kg | | Manufacturer | Chemical Guys | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Customer satisfaction guaranteed - see packaging for further details. | | Material Type | Polyurethane (PU) | | Model Name | MIC_292_02 | | Number Of Items | 2 | | Other Special Features Of The Product | Lint Free | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Surface Recommendation | Painted Metal, Plastic, Glass | | Unit Count | 2 Count | | Upc | 816276013855 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Chemical Guys - **Color:** Workhorse Light Blue - **Included Components:** Chemical Guys MIC_292_02 Premium Grade Microfiber Applicator, Blue (Pack of 2) - **Item Package Quantity:** 1 - **Item Weight:** 0.05 kg - **Material:** Polyurethane (PU) - **Model Name:** MIC_292_02 - **Product Dimensions:** 5"L x 3"W x 1.5"Th - **Special Feature:** Lint Free - **Surface Recommendation:** Painted Metal, Plastic, Glass ## Images ![Chemical Guys Premium Microfiber Applicator Pads, Soft Foam Core, 2 Pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81H3Vlgff7L.jpg) ![Chemical Guys Premium Microfiber Applicator Pads, Soft Foam Core, 2 Pack - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Nem8S6RyL.jpg) ![Chemical Guys Premium Microfiber Applicator Pads, Soft Foam Core, 2 Pack - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81NvhA84c-L.jpg) ![Chemical Guys Premium Microfiber Applicator Pads, Soft Foam Core, 2 Pack - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81FedDhk-nL.jpg) ![Chemical Guys Premium Microfiber Applicator Pads, Soft Foam Core, 2 Pack - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81gFOvsPKuL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the difference between using foam vs microfiber applicator pads?** A: Huge difference in how they apply the product. If the product you want to apply is very light, like a spray or any type of clear liquid, or a low volume product, a foam applicator will work better (this excludes glass cleaners - use a mf for that). If you want to apply something thicker and heavier with more volume, use a microfiber. **Q: how big are the applicators? the product dimensions say 10 x 6 x 3 inches, is that each one or the box of 8?** A: For the package of 8. Each is 5 X 3 X 1.5 Great product. I like the size. **Q: used to apply butter wet wax. washed after and still see a little wax... wash again or throw out?. or ok to use for future?** A: Personally, if it is still dirty or has the product on it. I would hand wash it at that point and see if i can get it out using a liquid soap. If it still does not come out, yes i would throw it away. **Q: Can i reuse for different products? Ex: microfiber washed after blacklight or jet seal, can i reuse pad with butter wax?** A: Absolutely, you can reuse them after each use as long as you clean them thoroughly. The reason we have different colors is just in case you wanted to keep one color for the Butter Wet Wax, a different one for Jet Seal, and a different one for Black Light. ## Frequently Bought Together - Chemical Guys Premium Grade Microfiber Applicator Pads - 2 Pack - Ultra-Soft Foam Core Detailing Pads for Wax, Sealant, Dressing, Interior & Exterior Car Care (MIC_292_02) - Chemical Guys Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover - Stain Removing Gel for Paint, Glass & Metal - Safe for Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles & More, 16 fl oz - Chemical Guys WAC_202_16 Speed Wipe Quick Detailer, Safe for Cars, Trucks, SUVs, Motorcycles, RVs & More, 16 fl oz, Cherry Scent --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.il/products/3688447-chemical-guys-premium-microfiber-applicator-pads-soft-foam-core-2](https://www.desertcart.co.il/products/3688447-chemical-guys-premium-microfiber-applicator-pads-soft-foam-core-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Israel* *Store origin: IL* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
