How can you tell if they are working
I think they are working. How do you tell? I bout 1 package and another set of two with one light. I have chickens ducks and a rabbit. Unfortunatel I live next to woods and we see Racoon's opossum and other harmful little critters in our yard all the time. My chickens are in a couple of those coops that you buy which aren't very secure I'm afraid. We are building new but in the mean time I wanted to protect them as much as possible. The ducks sleep in a space that is secure but would be easy to break into. We protect them as much as possible till new coop is built. I thought I would try these. now again how do you tell. well they are alive. I don't see any critters anymore, most importantly I never hear the animals going crazy because a predator is at there door. Once I left a bag of food on porch about 15 yard from cage and saw lil foot prints but nothing disturbed animals. another time my husband forgot to put the cans up and there was raw hamburger in the trash. this time about 30 yards away. now they can smell this no problem. They got in the garbage but stayed away from the coop. also there are no more digging by the coop as before the lights. so even though I don't sit outside all night to see what is going on I know they are working. I also took a single light device and put it high up by my front door. To me and others and neighbors it looks like a home security camera hopefully scaring away would be danger. I like it the price is amazing. I would buy it again (I actually) plan to get more. Oh, I place one next to coop on two sides one facing woods another facing opposite direction and one more on rabbit cage. I don't know if this helps but I also move them slightly up down and sideways thinking if they never move the critters might realize they are not other animals.

Product I believe works or helps !!!
The media could not be loaded. Well I have had a black with white stripe visitor in my yard every night.. Only found out because my pups noticed it, and Sprayed it was awful.. So I put out my wildlife cam which if you don't have one they are awesome and great photos and videos are clear at night.. Anyway put it out sure enough critter in yard again and rustling around middle of yard.. Well I put these out last night, NO critter.. Checked camera nothing but a cat.. So maybe the critter has moved on I would be very happy with that.. But I guess my point is I put this light out NO critter, without light critter.. Giving 4 stars that could change.. But I and my pups were happy last night.. it doesn't work didn't even scare a cat, Skunk back and not phased by these lights.. So went from 4 stars to 1 start sending back.. Spoke with exterminator was told it's a GIMMICK !!

Blinking on and on, and serving more than one purpose!
I think I reviewed this already, but I did want to add something, so here I go again. I bought this product because I had tried all kinds of ways to get rid of rodents who inhabited various areas underneath the soil in my back yard, and although I was doubtful about this one, I figured I would buy it anyway. Other products like smoke bombs may or may not be effective, and you have to keep buying more. This item, to my surprise seems to have been very effective. Rodent activity ceased in the areas where I set it! So, I am very happy.I know some people worry about how long the lights will flash on days when there was no sunshine. Fear not! It will go on for many nights. I left mine out in the Fall, in a couple of areas where there wasn't more than 3-4 hours of sunshine. Then with the coming of snow, I decided I should pull them up. So I put them in a bucket in my garage. It is dark enough in there that they started blinking immediately, and went on 24 hours a day for about a month. Actually one of them is still blinking!!!! This after maybe 6 weeks! And one more thing. At Halloween, I placed them inside carved pumpkins! It gave the pumpkins an eerie glow!

It stopped a Black Bear in his tracks and he has not returned.
The media could not be loaded. Overall the Predator is great. I have two game cameras positioned to record the action. Squirrels, raccoons, possums and birds pay no attention to it, but a very large Black Bear on his way to ruin my bird feeders and pole, can be seen stopping in his tracks and not returning. The Predator charges by solar during the day even though we have had two days of snow.

So far, so good.
So far these seem to be working. I put out some fake snakes around the same time to try to keep squirrels and chipmunks away during the day as well. I bought the 2 pack and I put both of them out about 25 ft apart to guard my spring garden - lettuce seedlings, and direct sown peas, swiss chard, arugula, carrots, radishes and kale. Before putting these out, there were obvious spots where squirrels had been digging and there were footprints large enough to be either raccoons or groundhogs, which are both common in my area. Since putting out the Predator Eyes (both of which worked fine after a day in the sun) and the rubber snakes about 3 weeks ago, I haven't seen any signs of animals in the garden. There also haven't been any deer prints near the area, which I usually see by now. I do move them a few feet every day or two and I don't expect these to work forever - eventually suburban wildlife gets used to anything and I'm planning to get a fence up soon, but they work well enough to buy me some time. I just ordered 2 more for the other side of my yard where the deer have eaten the tops off of my raspberry plants. I'll try to update later in the summer with how that works.
