WOW
TL;DR: run don't walkThis is hands down the very best hair dryer I have ever used. I have had other pricey hair dryers and they don't hold a candle to this one. Yes, it is a big investment, but if you're serious about your hair care or if you have high maintenance hair that requires a lot to look even decent (my situation), it is so worth it.My most recent hair dryer before this one is the L'ange and I loved it, but I bought it when I was routinely styling my hair straight (I have curly hair) and their diffuser is your standard stuff. I have been on my curly hair journey to start styling my hair curly again and heard a lot of skuttlebutt about the diffuser on this hair dryer. The claims about the amazingness of the hair dryer itself plus the diffuser for curly gals is what sold me on trying it. I can confirm that the hair dryer is amazing no matter what attachment you use, and if you're a curly hair gal, the diffuser and hair dryer performance is even better than I thought it would be. My hair dries so much faster with less speed and less heat. This cuts down on heat damage, my curls are more intact, my hair is shinier, and now I am not sweating my butt off when I'm done drying my hair. The attachments are also so easy to use.I did see complaints about the weight of this hair dryer but I don't think it's heavy at all. Most high quality hair dryers are heavier than cheaper ones and this hair dryer is lighter than my L'ange was even with the big diffuser on. I suppose the weight could be an issue for someone with limited strength/mobility, but no more than any other good quality hair dryer.

Fantastic!
I purchased this recently and I am so glad I did. I have frizzy, corse, thick, and curly hair. I spent 40-50 mins drying to straighten out. I blowup revlon and conair dryers 2-3 times a year. No more! I now use the brush attachment and I can dry my hair in about 10-12 minutes. The dryer doesn’t overheat at all. No issues whatsoever! It has multiple speeds and heat levels making this perfect for restyling as well. I wish it was a little lighter (still lighter than the last conair i had). Other than that, it is the perfect hair dryer. Very comparable to Dyson just less expensive.

Best I’ve ever had
I cannot tell you how much I love this blow dryer. I am someone who hates drying her hair because of how long it takes I have really thick hair and it takes forever to do anything to it but this blow dryer has changed that. I don’t have the Dyson so I cannot speak to the compare ability of the two but what I can tell you is I use this blow dryer all the time. the brush attachment is my favorite I use it so much it will blow dry my hair straight in about 30 minutes which for me is amazing. the diffuser is really good too I am not great at using the diffuser but I think it’s more user error on my part. The diffuser has a retractable option so you can make the prongs longer or shorter which is really really cool i don’t use the concentrator brush that much but I have used it and it’s really nice as well I honestly can’t say enough good things about this blow dryer and I love it I love the price I love the functionality it’s just overall a good buy if you’re on the fence just go for it because it is a great investment to put in for yourself you’re worth it and you should do it.

Works fast
It dries my hair really fast, which is impressive given how thick and long it is. It doesn't seem to get super hot like some of my previous dryers, but it dries my hair so fast that my bathroom mirror fogs from all the water it puts in the air. I've never seen a drier like this before...The price tho makes me feel that this dryer is still underwhelming. For this price, I feel like I should have effortlessly frizz free and shiny hair, which I definitely do not have. It doesn't seem to fry my hair, tho, so there's that. It's heavy. If you additionally order the beach wave curler attachment, it's even heavier. It's not unwieldy exactly, but it's heavier than I thought for such an expensive dryer. It's a solid dryer, but the price is a bit much even for this good dryer, IMO.

Don't Waste Your Money!
I bought this hair dryer in July 2022. Yes, 3 years ago. However, for the investment, I would expect this hair dryer to last far longer than it did. When I first bought the dryer, I was wearing my hair short and natural so only used low heat with the diffuser. Since then, I've grown out my very thick and wavy hair to shoulder length and started drying it straight when it got too cold to diffuse and mostly air dry. I loved the results the first time I used the dryer to straighten my hair. This was the one and only time I was able to dry my hair to completion without the hair dryer overheating. Since the dryer overheated that one time, I can't even use it on low without the dryer shutting itself off after the first 5 minutes. I've followed the maintenance process but... no dice.I get better results from my $30 15-year-old dependable Conair than I did from this expensive piece of junk. And don't worry, I'm not burning out my hair with the Conair - it's ionic and I have yet to see any split ends.Oh... I should also mention that the Shark is VERY loud.
