Highly Recommended and I just bought two more!!
Great product! I highly recommend it to anyone needing extra security while on the go. Well worth the money.- Construction: It is a nice solid box with nice fit and finish. I have seen no obvious weak spots or flaws. The safe is great protection against a snatch and grab. It can probably be defeated by a thief with the right tools, but then any portable safe can be defeated with the right tools. I just don't think the right tools will be carried by most thiefs.- Electronic Lock: No problem installing the included batteries and changing the combination on the electronic lock. Contrary to previous reports about the electronic lock being slow to open, I find it fairly quick. It is not a spring loaded, pop the gun into your hand type device but for just storing items in it, the PC-650 is plenty fast. It is probably faster than the total time to pull the key from wherever you keep it, insert the key, and open the PC-650.- Key lock: The PC-650 ships with two keys per safe. I ordered two PC-650s and they came with the same serial number on the key lock. I don't know if this was planned or a bit of luck on my part. However, it is nice that the same key opens both PC-650s. This might be a problem for some people.- Odor: I did not notice an odor with the safes as some people have reported.- Size: The PC-650 holds my Glock 35 with one spare magazine very easily.20 May 2016 Update: I ordered two more PC-650. One came with the same key as the first two PC-650s I own. The main change I noticed between the two orders is that the newer PC-650s now have a slot with a cover that allows you to change the batteries instead of needing to use a wrench to open up the front compartment to change the battery.-- Size: The PC-650 holds my CT Laser equipped Glock 35 with two spare 15 rd magazines or two CT Laser equipped Beretta Nanos or one Beretta Neos with two spare 10 rd magazines. Sadly my Ruger 44 Magnum does not fit.-- Security: First and foremost, it keeps my pistols handy and safe from kids and casual lookie-loos. The security cable is fairly easy to loop around secure points in my autos and back to the case. The case is also easily concealed under or behind seats and not easily seen from outside the car.

Nice solid safe, with cable included to secure it to an immovable object. Uses a series of 3 buttons to develop a code, not #'s
This is a good, small, safe. Don't be fooled, it won't hold a lot. But it is doing what we bought it for. There is a cable included to attach it in a car, to a bed frame, or other immovable object. It seems very sturdy, and the electronics seem decent too. The battery holder seems a bit cheesy, and the wires are exposed as you pull out the battery tray, so you have to be careful with this. The foam is thing, but at least there is a foam liner. There is a key override, which is great. Setting the code is easy, but it isn't numbers, it is 3 buttons that you can press in a certain sequence, to develop a code. And there is an electronic lockout if you try too many times. If it were a bit larger, and I don't mean much, and if more concern were put into the design of the battery tray, so wires were not exposed when changing batteries, I'd have probably given it a 5 star review.

Excellent but could still be better.
I don't this is really designed to be a "safe" i.e protection from thieves. Yes it has a nice cable and buttons to unlock but there are only 3 buttons so the number of combinations are probably not too many. And since it is for quick access for a gun pushing fewer times is better--quicker access and lower chance of miscounting or pushing. That being said for the money this is the best one I've used. The case and cable have a much stronger/sturdier feel to them than the typical $20-30 key locking ones. The lid pops open when the buttons are pushed correctly. The combination has worked every time I tried and feel confident that in an urgent situation I could open it quickly and reliably even in the dark--isn't that the most important thing? However, because of the few buttons, I think an unauthorized person (teenager or even a pre teen) might gain access if they have time to try a number of times. For this reason I think they should make it 5 buttons rather than 3, (it will take much more time to open through trial an error) it will also match up with fingers on one hand. I haven't deducted a star because for what I paid it exceeded my expectations. And is a far better solution (solid and quick access when you urgently need it) than a trigger key lock, a barrel cable lock, or a keyed gun safe.

so far so meh
My H&K P2000 fits without a holster and I can also squeeze a mag and decent knife inside. I use it daily for work. It would be nice if it opened a little quicker, it takes a good second or two while the mechanism does its thing after you punch in the code to pop up. The beeping for each button push is a little annoying to my family members at 3 AM when I come home and put it away every night, but these are all minor issues that I think I knew about before getting it. Now I don't know if the problem I'm having is user error or it just happens randomly. Twice now I have come in to retrieve my weapon and found it popped open. I am not sure if I did not shut it properly all the way when I put it away or that it just opened on its own in the drawer. I am going to be sure and check it by trying to open it with my fingers each night and wait this to happen again. Either way make sure you check that its properly closed because I, like many of you, have small children at home and the thought of them getting in there really gets to me.
