No instructions, like others said, but easy to install
I was kind of confused on how to set it up because this is my first airbrush, but it wasn't too hard. You need to buy some Teflon tape to go with it, wrap both ends of the metal connectors with it a good few times, and install it so that the arrows on the regulator are pointing away from the compressor. Then we twisted the top part shut until it didn't let any air through, and untwisted it carefully till it allowed air through at about 30 psi max. We still have some minor air leaking out that we can't find, so we'll be adding more Teflon tape to all three holes, but generally it was very very easy to set up even for a total noob. Works well so far

Nice Quality Regulator
Operates very smoothly and with nice precision for setting the pressure.

Works fine after some adjustments
Tight seal required, silicone seal worked for me. Outlet port is too deep increasing difficulty with assembly.

Good regulator
Regulator went out on my air brush tank, found replacement, is exactly the same as OEM installed easy, up in running in no time. Even showed up early. Very happy with it.

Perfect! Must be qualified to own and install.
I too was a little stumped this item came without instructions. However after 3 seconds looking at it and a quick google search to confirm my findings install was a breeze. There is nothing wrong with this item, the only issue is people don't know how to install it. When you figure this out the item is a 5 star, no question about it. For those that have leak issues, or it simply doesn't work issues restraint is necessary before leaving a negative review. Here's how to resolve the mental block:1. Invest 40 cents in some Teflon tape. All connections involving a compressor are metal to metal or plastic in some cases(some exceptions are those with rubber seals). To seal from leaks Teflon has been around for about 100 years to resolve that.2. It's all about the ARROW. Look really close and it shows you the direction of airflow. Main compressor to the back of the arrow (flat side of triangle in case that was confusing) and the pointy tip of the arrow goes toward where you want the air to go. Get this backwards and it won't work.3. Loosen your grip on those wrenches. Yes this product has some plastic so be gentle. Over-tighten and you'll break it. With proper teflon installation a snug tightening is all you need. If it still leaks add more Teflon. That happened to me since I didn't use enough, hence user error. For me I was able to get the dial to face towards the sky which is exactly where I wanted it. However with the teflon in place you can leave it at any location after a few turns.4. Size - Almost true to size as pictured. It even gives you specs, they are "8 x 2.5 x 2 inches ; 2 pounds" which was spot on. So look before you purchase if you don't want that size. For airbrushing this is PERFECT!!5. Moisture cup - Love it. I haven't had to use it at all however plunging the nipple let the air out immanently. I attached a small length hose to a bucket if I ever need it.In my setup, I have the main compressor in my garage with an extra hose leading to my work space. If airbrushing, I recommend putting a shutoff valve on the incoming main side. I liked keeping the max pressure off of the regulator itself, while not in use, to increase life. If you don't that shouldn't be a problem, I at least recommend getting a quick-connect braided hose for your airbrush. That way when you disconnect your airbrush you don't have air flying out at you. Without either you'll have to run up to the main compressor to disconnect the hose or use its shutoff valve, which mind doesn't have. With my shutoff valve on the input side of the regulator, it allows me to disconnect my airbrush and use the end of my hose as a mini blower. I can turn the valve on and blow off contents while holding on the end of the hose without using any extra fancy extensions I don't need.Hope this helps.

Works well enough if you have some information first.
It works as advertised, but not without some research. This thing is kind of janky but it seems to work ok- I say that because I've been through two of them- the first one I broke myself over tightening the knob because there is ZERO documentation on how to install or operate the regulator, but hey great book on How to Airbrush (eyeroll). It's cheap (you get what you pay for) so I bought a second and have some tips.1. The connections on the body are 1/4" BSP thread. If you are using NPT fittings from your compressor you'll need an adapter.2. There is a tiny arrow triangle on the body, which indicates the direction of airflow. The reduced pressure air controlled by the knob comes out on the side the arrow is pointing at.3. You must pull the outside of the knob UP in order to adjust.4. Turning the knob CLOCKWISE turns down the pressure.5. The gauge requires back pressure to indicate. You must have the output side hooked up to something (an airbrush) or it will just read zero.6. Use Teflon tape on all connections.7. This thing is all plastic and as such is fragile- take care when tightening the fittings.

A little clarification
It seems some people are not sure how to hook these up. It doesn't come with instructions or diagrams but with a little knowledge it should be intuitive enough. Here are some tips:There is a little arrow molded into the plastic. This is the direction of airflow. Be sure to get it right or the pressure control wont work.Use Teflon tape to seal the male threads (Available at all hardware stores in the plumbing section). When looking at the male threaded opening wrap the tape clockwise so when screwing it on in a clockwise direction the tape will smooth down and not try to come off. Stretch it on.After assembly check for leaks with diluted dish soap painted on the connections. With pressure in the tank any leak will make bubbles.Mine came with 1/4" female connections in both sides of the body and two 1/4" male to 1/8" male adapters. Mine also came with a mounting bracket so it could be mounted near your work station away from the compressor with additional tubing. The water remover must be hanging down. Clean it periodically by pushing the chrome drain plug on the bottom up. The air pressure forces any accumulated water out.All in all a good product for the money. No complaints. The pressure control is very smooth and adjusts from zero to at least 60 psi (the highest I use)Hope that helps.
