Not a Belt-leashI thought the adjustable handle was so that it could double as a belt-leash. It doesn't expand enough for a person to step into (I have a 30 inch waist).The leash is very stiff, sturdy and grippy. Its great for a real sized dog that you want to give a little extra space.The cushioned handle is barely cushioned. It looks much nicer than it is. Its basically just black fabric with no cushioning.I have no idea what all the hooks are for going down it.

Was great for a while. Really helped save my hands.with two really strong beasts (Ridgeback mix & Staffershord/Pit mix both > 60 lbs.) Was disappointed when the rubber padding on the handle stripped off fairly quick. What really disappoints is that when i tie both dogs together one of the ring attachments tore away from the leash. Also the handle side when used as a slip collar the stopper broke away and i have to be careful with the metal hardware not to cut into the dogs neck.

The D-ring BROKE and the harness fabric tore during first and only use. It fit my 135 lb female Great Dane nicely, but was not made well enough to suit her. I'm very disappointed.

Good leash and I do like it but it came damaged and has since unraveled on one end. When it arrived I didn't think the minor kink it had was a big deal but after a few weeks of daily use with two Labs it just isn't holding up as well as I had hoped. I did like the amount of rings on the leash and they seem to be good quality.

As a padded slip-collar and a 4' leash (looped back on itself), it works very well for me on busy streets with a 50# dog who wants to chase passing vehicles. In a couple weeks of use, I've had more control than I had had previously with two types of harnesses. The rope's material is very comfortable to hold and feels quite sturdy, sized for large-ish dogs; it's nicely flexible with a grip-py texture. Loses one point for alternate connection points that seem superfluous and sometimes get in the way.

All the materials used in the construction of this leash seem incredibly high quality. I use this as an every day leash, but it feels as good as using a high quality leather leash. I personally prefer 8 foot leashes over 5 or 6 feet leashes because the extra length provides more flexibility in how I hold the leash and how I walk my dog. I havent had to use the extra loops for the multi functionality, but theyre all incredibly well made and stitched on. I usually follow dog bloggers and buy what they review, but since nobody was reviewing 8 foot leashes I bought this on a whim. I'm really surprised not more people are buying and reviewing this leash and this company isnt more well known. First and probably last review I'll ever write on Amazon. Take that for what you will.

I just got this a few days ago, so I can't attest to durability, but it seems well made and I don't see any issues in the future. I love the versatility of this! I have used a carabiner in the past to use my leashes 'hands free' , and although it worked, it was not as comfortable as this, and I never fully trusted the carabiners as I have seen them break before, and even though (2 of my 3) dogs are well behaved and (mostly) trustworthy - their safety is my #1 priority so having a comfortable , secure, and safe leash is a big deal in the city. So far I love this product, as do our 'kids' as it makes it much easier to take them out to do yard work in the un-fenced front yard rather than looking at me longingly from the door while making sounds that emulate a puppy being abused and making the neighbors think we are terrible (they know we're not). I will most likely order a few more over time so each of ours has one, as well as gifts for friends that foster for local (un-funded) rescues.

I sent it back. I didn't realize it doesn't actually connect to a collar in most configurations. Instead that end loop is supposed to be put around your dog's neck. I wanted to clip this to a gentle leader, but theN there are no variations.
