I looked everywhere and found k-2 ,5th and just reg composition tablets but couldn’t find 3rd grade ones that didn’t cost a small fortune or only sold in big bulk packs . I was so excited when I found this deal on exactly what I needed . My niece was super happy I got her 2 red 3rd grade Composition books for her school supplies. Since it only had 50 double sided pages in it I setup my subscribe and save order to ship my niece a new one in Jan2023 . I love that I can save a % off it too . I’m happy this company makes them specific 3rd graders . I do recommend this to anybody looking for a 3rd grade student or teacher gift or school supplies: it could be used by younger students that wanted to challenge themselves too . Happy kid =happy mom

Delivered on time and good quality. Was much easier than searching crowded stores. I paid more but it was worth it!

The quality of the composition notebooks is nice and are helpful for children who have a difficult time in space their letters and keeping them on the lines. I use these with students from grades 2-7.

I am happy to have found a journal with the lines for elementary school writing. But I am a bit unhappy because although the description says that it's "Grade 2" it's very wide. More like Kindergarten writing paper. My 2/3rd grader is irritated with how wide the lines are. As am I.Also, just FYI - the color pictured may not be the color you get. We wound up with blue journals. I don't care what color they are, but others may, so head's up.

I like the size of the notebook itself and the width of the lines. The thing I don't prefer is how flimsy and thin the pages are. But overall this is a good notebook.

You really can't beat the price for this! It is, indeed, about 3rd grade level writing lines. They are not as wide as younger grades.My frustration with the "Roaring Springs" brand of these books, is, I'd love a 2nd grade level book just like this one, but the 2nd grade one I ordered has GIGANTIC lines, like for Kindergarten. So their products are proving inconsistent to me. 2nd grade should be just a bit wider than 3rd grade, right?I'm happy with THIS product, but buyer beware, the products from this company seem inconsistent. You may or may not get what you are looking for...

I have my daughter write in her journal almost every day as a way to improve her reading and writing skills. Her teacher suggested having primary paper so that she could write the same way she writes at school. No where in town had a primary journal, so I bought this one from Amazon. Perfect! It's well-bound so she can use it all year. The paper is exactly what she uses in her first grade class at school. Very happy with this notebook!

Got what I paid for. Needed a primary composition notebook for my 1st grader. Decided to purchase this notebook versus a similar Mead product based on the price. Would have given 5 stars if the cover had been a bit sturdier. Feels a bit flimsy, and I wonder if it will hold up against a 1st grader.
