I bought this directly from Vevor rather than another vendor believing it to be a quality new item but the overall condition suggests otherwise. There is paint flaking off in parts and in other areas it has clearly been resprayed. Even the plastic roller (which is actually a piece of plastic tubing) has been partly over sprayed. Other parts show signs of wear and are pitted. The attached pictures were taken inside the box before I unpacked it. Once I assembled (I simply had to screw on the castors so an easy job), I was able to try it out. At first it would not move then I realised the two sliding parts were painted together! After freeing hem it was still very stiff but I managed to test and confirm it works as intended. I will reluctantly keep it because it does do the job but I wish they mentioned it was a reconditioned part because I may well have chosen to buy an alternative. One last thing. There was no wrench. I guess one was memtioned and itended to tighten the nuts when attaching the castors but my box contained no wrench.

A fairly sturdy construction. But lacks a return spring. However, this isn't a problem under load. What is a problem is, as with most hydraulic units, the sudden drop if released hard from raised. There appears to be no Venturi in the return line to stop high inrush of Hydraulic fluid. This, of course, can be negated by slowly and carefully opening the realease valve. Also I recommend some grease for the slides and piston rod.Overall not bad and it does provide a useful means of moving a Car, if space is at a premium.But you have to get two to make them workable.
