Buyer Beware
Super fast shipping, great product then downhill from there . All is fine unless you return it then the rip off starts first they try to keep 50% because the plastic package was opened saying it was unsaleable then after Amazon got involved then they kept 25% now saying it’s a restocking fee . Amazon refunded my entire cost but the hassle was not necessary. Now I’ll just let my nephew plug them on his YouTube channel and that shouldn’t be necessary but they drew first blood. UPDATE : after going back and forth several times finally got my purchase price refunded minus return shipping. Still great seller with fast shipping just be aware if you have to return for any reason

Never owned a better knife
I have spent 15 years in the military and have owned and put many knifes through the works. I am a civilian now and practicing bush craft in my free time. I get off the grid one weekend a month... every month no matter the weather. I have read other reviews about this knife so I have really put the screws to it to test it out. My personal verdict is that although it isn't sold as a "bushcraft" knife I wouldn't go anywhere (and haven't) with out it. The saw back for making traps has replaced a tool in my pack freeing up more room and cutting down on weight. Also I have batoned through wood like butter and the blade still looks as sexy as the day I un-boxed it. The factory edge was sharp and good but after a quick stropping I was able to touch up my beard with it. I love everything about this knife it self and couldn't think of a complaint to say about it. Honestly the only thing I could even think to change about it would be to add a dangler attachement to the kydex sheath. Or atleast offer a D ring belt loop option. I have crafted my own and fashioned it to the belt clip on the sheath and secured the spring steel belt clip down with 550 cord that I wrapped around the sheath to have in hand if I need to turn the knife into a spear tip. You will not be disappointed with this knife looks wise and the feel and usefulness of it far exceeds its looks.

Solid knife!
Just a fantastic knife. The fit and finish is incredible, and the blade is incredibly sharp. I am already thinking about buying another plate from this company.

One of the greatest knives there is. Very tough. The toughest in the business. Price does not matter when it comes to your survival. Great as is, better with a few mods.
I also have the Tops 111A and the Tops 107c. This one is the smallest of the three. It is the same amazing quality and durability and attention to detail you get from the other two Steel Eagles or any Tops knife I've owned for that matter. The saw back is intended for notching which it does well. The steel is literally strong enough to be a crowbar, takes an edge easily and holds it well. No sharpening necessary, I only need to strop mine every now and then to keep it razor sharp. I modified mine, I gave it a full convex edge which makes it really easy to maintain and blisteringly sharp, I also ground in a finger choil to mimic the same hand hold options as the 111A and 107C and now this knife is perfect (see photo for comparison to the 107C). Perfect side for the camp site.

This Tops knife is a fine product. Came wrapped in bubble wrap, not boxed.

I really like it
The shorter length of this knife fits my needs. Most guys probably want the longer ones. I looked for a long time to find this combination in a size that I feel is best suited for my personal needs. Its easy to carry, and with few exceptions I believe will do the same job as its longer - heavier - brothers. Its shorter length, to me, only effects it if used as a spear when attached to some stick. Unless I am defending myself from a mountain lion, I don't see a difference.

This knife arrived very fast. Amazon said give it a month, but it was in my mailbox after a week. It's my first Tops, and I've gotta say... I've never had such a well constructed knife. I just can't wait to beat the heck out of it.The micarta handle is extremely comfortable. The edge came with an even bevel and a perfect point. It's also razor sharp! The sawback is quite sharp as well. Now that I've held it, I wonder if the 107 might have been more suited to my needs. However, one of the main things that sold me on this knife is the sheath. The retention is fantastic, and the rotating belt clip is just so convenient. I don't mind nylon sheaths for my machetes, but my knives tend to tear right through them. All in all, this seems like a very rugged knife that I feel will take care of me as long as I need it to. I'll be putting it through its paces this weekend, and if I snap it in half, then I'll come back and knock a few stars off. However, I half a lot of confidence in this knife, and if something does happen, I think Tops will send me a new one anyway. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope I've helped convince you that this knife is worth your consideration.*Edited for spelling mistakes*
