Interactive LED training Flashlight Pen mouse animation

This is NOT a laser. It's basically a flashlight with the beam shaped like a mouse.My cat still plays with it....which is why I gave it even 2 stars.....but only if I'm nearby with the light close to the floor. Completely pointless since the whole reason to get a laser toy is so you can use it from far away. It was cheap enough that I'm keeping it because it's not worth the hassle of returning it but I'll be shopping for a new one. Extremely dissappointed.And on another note....I'm an amazon prime costumer and although it was stated on the item that I would get it by a certain date guaranteed....I didn't.

Really dim light. Has to be a dark room and the light disappears with distance greater than a couple of feet. I'll keep the batteries throw out the light.

Not made well. Cats can't even see the mouse unless the unit is close to the wall! The further away you aim it the bigger and blurrier the mouse gets and my cats can't see it. The color of the light is not good either should be red like the laser pointer. The cats love the laser pointer much better.

Not really a laser pointer. Just has a weird mouse shape light that my cats don't even bother with. The "mouse" is only interesting to my cats when standing right over them. Otherwise, the "mouse" is either too small and faint or too large and distorted. BTW- cats don't know what a cartoon mouse is. They like string, red dots and cat nip. Stop over thinking these things. Waste of money.

Cute idea, but for our dogs and cats this item did not give them the "chase"! The color of the light is a faded purple, we have never had that color before. Our animals play with the laser lights with the red light by the hour. It took literally, about 10 seconds and they were done, the mouse faded into nothing if the light was any further away from the floor than 3 feet. Young dogs, old dogs, young cat and old cats all reacted the same way. For our houseful of 15 dogs and 6 cats, a waste of money.

 My 9 and 10 year old cats are enjoying chasing the lighted mouse. It keeps them active. My only reservation is that the "mouse" is too large when projected more than a few feet away from where I'm standing.

I got this today and, wow, my cat loved it. We played for about 10 minutes before he got to his "I'll just sit and watch it" mode. I put it aside and an hour later decided to play with him again. It doesn't work!! Not at all!! $8.95 for 10 minutes? This is total b.s. The sad thing is that it would probably cost me more to ship it back than what it is worth. My advice: Buy at your own risk.

This laser has about as much distance available to it as shown in the image. Standing any more than a foot or two away from the surface you are pointing it at, it becomes distorted, too large for my kitties to have any interest in chasing it. Huge disappointment, as the whole point of using a laser as a cat toy is so you can play long-range... *sigh* wish I could return this!
