Great tool

Have used this to mix a variety of products from mortar to planting mix. It is powerful enough to handle any job needed so far. An excellent tool to have available! Good value for the price.

I am impressed with the MAXXT Mixer 12A Single Paddle. I was presently surprised by the quality. I've been using a right-angle drill after burning out several other drills. I like how the drill speed is adjusted, allowing for a more controlled mix. Other mixers require the use of their mixing paddles, with an actual drill chuck I can use my mixing paddles the MAXXT Mixer depending on the product I am mixing.

For how few tiling projects we do this is the perfect mixer for us, gets the job done with little fuss for the right price. If I was mixing full time though, I'd look for something else. The RPM/speed control knob is a bit wonky and it's hard to select your desired mixing speed and maintain that. Finicky is probably a good word. Otherwise, seems solid enough overall and great for the DIY'er or occasional use.

I bought this so that the DeWalt drill that normally mixes heavy asphalt seal coat pails could have a rest. This mixer went through six 5-gallon pails of asphalt seal coat and didn’t even get hot. My only complaint about it is that the included mixing paddle is a little off balance but that doesn’t really matter.

I burnt up a heavy duty drill supposedly made to mix mortar. Not only did it die, it was hard to control the speed, and I got concrete all over my legs several times. This is much easier to control speed because it’s not based on trigger pressure. The design is great and easier to handle and control. I’m so glad I bought this little jewel.

Considered using my drill and purchasing a mixing paddle instead of buying a dedicated mixer like this. I had a lot of powdered thinset to mix and thought a two handed mixer would be better for my back. This mixer worked 👍 great, I am very glad I bought it. It made the mixing fast and easy. It came with a mixing paddle, which provided additional incentive to make the purchase. It handled a full bag of 50 pound thinset without any difficulty.
