Precision in sound and build quality
After doing extensive research on earbuds in the $50-$100 price range, I am convinced that these are one of the best, if not the best option. I had never heard a pair before purchasing, but based on numerous favorable reviews on multiple audiophile sites, as well as the description of the sound signature, I had to try them out for myself. When opening the package, I immediately noticed the precision and attention to detail that went into the product itself and even the packaging. The cord feels substantial and resists tangling with ease. Cord shorting has been a major issue with other brands, and based on the build quality, I am confident that I will not have the same issue with these. I checked the sections where the cord connects to other parts, such as the earpieces and microphone. Again, based on the sturdy way these are built, I have no doubt that these earbuds will last much longer than my previous purchases. The package includes a circular headphone case made of tough, but not rigid material. There is a small section inside of the case, a netted pocket, which can be used to store the extra earbud tips. I found this useful while experimenting with the different included earbud tips. Once I found the perfect fit, it will be incredibly useful for storing extra tips, as I like to change these out every so often. The case zips well, and is as well built as the earbuds themselves. When carried in the pocket, the case is not crushed easily, making it invaluable for transporting these.I purchased the Gun Metal Grey pair and was very pleased with the finishing of the color and texture of these. The earbuds have some weight to them, due to the metal construction. This does not, however, cause them to be clunky in the ear or to fall out while in use. Rather, the weight further adds to the feel and execution of a quality device. The concave design allows them to be easily inserted into the ears, with the concave back allowing them to be lightly pushed into the ear canal with ease. The button on the microphone section feels significant, and has a nice snap to it when pressed.I listen to a wide variety of music of various genres, so it was important to me to find a pair of earbuds that conveyed the raw energy of indie rock, the precision of an acoustic guitar's crisp ring, the thumping bass and biting electronics of EDM, the list goes on. Every musical genre that I have tested these with, they excel. Precision - that is the word that best describes these, not just precision with design, but precision with sound reproduction. They are not bass heavy, as most earbuds in this price range tend to be. They are clear and accurate, with a warm natural tone. The microphone picks up the voice particularly well, and I have not had a single issue with being heard on the other line. Others have said that my voice comes through clearly with no issues. If you are considering earbuds in the $50-$100 price range, these Meze 11 NEO's deserve serious consideration. I have owned many $100 pairs which do not compare to these in sound or build quality. I can't speak highly enough for these at this price point. Do not let the fewer reviews on these as compared to other options concern you. Check reviews of these elsewhere online, and you will find a clear trail of positive reviews by audiophiles and experts alike.

Wow. Just, wow.
Let me preface this review by saying that I'm no audiophile - I just listen to music all day and would like to have the best experience listening to my favorite artists.I've purchased and extensively used several different pairs of IEMs at this price point over the past few years like the Klipsch s4-ii, the Klipsch r6i, and, most recently, the Sennheiser cx 5.00. Each of those pairs had their own little quirks, and the difference between them were almost negligible until I used them for several days and compared them again. As soon as I put these on, however, I immediately noticed the difference in quality. Before I talk about how they sound, however, I need to discuss how incredible the build quality on these are. The cable itself is covered is stiff but substantial cable that feels like it will hold up well to the stress of my jean pockets and cramped backpack - should I decide not to use the high quality carrying case they provided in the box - and the metal casing makes these feel like I paid much more than I actually did, Klipsch, Sennheiser, and many other headphones manufacturers find reason to make their IEMs strange shapes to make them seem ergonomic while not providing any real benefits in regards to comfort or fit, but Meze decided on a safe shape that fits perfectly in my finicky ear canals. Now for how they sound. These headphones offer an incredible sound stage and detailed sound that I didn't think was even possible in IEMs. They also don't require a great deal of power, and, when playing through my nexus 6p, music sounds better on these than it does on my M40X's. Every note, every strum, every voice can be picked out and it's always wonderful.Tl;dr - Great build quality, even greater sound quality. Buy these.

These headphones are decent however they do have their drawbacks.Pros:- Neutral pleasing sound- Not perfect but good enough sound isolation for the price- Comfort is good, although initially it can feel strange if you haven't tried in ear headphones before. Can be used for hours at a time without any problems- Driver housing is tough, fell on top of these on pavement in a long boarding accident and both earbuds only suffered scratches that honestly only add to the aesthetics of the headphone. On countless occasions the drivers were smacked around and suffered no damage.Cons:- as many other reviews have denoted, these suffer a lot from micro phonics. Even when attached to the included cable clip these still suffer from micro phonics.- Cable isn't as durable as housing; right ear bud got disconnected after a year when on one occasion I pulled too hard on the cable and it just popped right outUltimately I would only recommend these headphones if you plan on using them in sedentary situations where you will not be moving much. Sound quality is good, as is driver durability. If the cable was removable I would give these 5 stars. Honestly I feel that most other earbuds would have failed in a shorter amount of time. Despite the fact that only one earbuds remains intact I continue to use these when doing physical activities.
