This is great for beginners as the controls are easy to pick up. The camera is very clear and easy to sync with a phone. The drone itself is very sturdy and has survived multiple crashes. You can buy replacement blades etc which are reasonably priced. What really makes this stand out for me is the amazing customer service. I contacted the company to buy a replacement controller (careless user error broke it) and the response was overwhelming. They went above and beyond to help, and didn’t ask for a review in return or anything like that. They are just a very decent company. So impressed and have recommended this drone to others.

This is an excellent starter drone and has great features when operating outdoors. On a strong winding day as with most drones stability is a little shaky but overall it’s solid to control and work with. previously I reviewed this drone to be a malfunctioning one however it was not the drone it was my cell phone to drone communication. I used my wife’s phone and the drone operated without any issues and I’m glad I purchased it.

Good drone for the price. It is very responsive and fast. It's powerful and seems sturdy. I like that it is a medium size drone and not a mini. It comes with two batteries which is nice as well as extra propellers. It even comes with a magnetic screwdriver. Assembly was easy.You can operate it off your phone with the app, although I find it easier to operate with the controller.It takes pretty nice clear pictures and videos and can do some cool tricks fairly well.The only downside is that it is very susceptible to wind so the best way to fly it is inside or with no wind. Also, since it does not have GPS it really does not have a full return to home feature.All in all, I think it is a very good drone for kids and beginners

Very stable and easy to use

Be very careful about flying in any wind, got up about 50 feet and I did not have camera on and it flew out of range within 6 seconds and I lost the drone and have not recovered it and doubt I will. I take some of the blame but the wind was only around 8mph and the thing is so light that it was gone before I could do anything. Definitely take to a very open space and have the camera going so you can track it. Need to practice at low levels with controls to get the hang of it and it was somewhat hard to put together with the tiny screws that come with it to attach the skids and rotor gaurds.

After seeing a number of positive reviews, I figured I would give this a shot. I've flown other drones owned by friends and, while not an expert by any means, I was fairly confident in my novice skills on a novice device. And I want to comment that the seller seems to be good. I'm sure it was fulfilled by Amazon, but my order was processed right away and here when it was promised. Seller gets an A+.I wasn't looking for spectacular aeronautics or movie quality footage. I just wanted to take a few photos of our property for projects we're planning, maybe inspect our roof, pretty basic stuff. For the price, I was hoping it was going to be a reasonable expectation. I don't need it to track for miles, auto return if it leaves range, broadcast in high def, etc.Okay, the good: This is a really sleek looking device. I can't think of a thing in terms of esthetics that you'd really want or need to change. Lights are bright and visible to some degree even in the daylight.It comes ready to launch within a few minutes of opening. They supply a small screwdriver for attaching the blade guards, as well as the screw set.The control comes with an auto takeoff/landing feature which is pretty good.Actually has a flip button for those who wish to show off for friends watching.It was easy to sync to the control, and you feel a real excitement that this is going to be everything you thought you were ordering.Unfortunately, now the bad: In even the slightest breeze, this is almost impossible to control, let alone get to hover in position so you can take a photo. I know that the reduced weight helps extend battery life and flight time, but that doesn't matter much if it's blown out of range by a 1 mph wind (according to my weather station.)The camera angle will not point straight down. I know that for many this will be a matter of insignificance, but for anyone looking to use it to do ground layout or observation photos, this is a problem. You want to be able to cover a photo without any field distortion from shooting at an angle. The alternative of controlling the pitch to get the appropriate angle is virtually impossible due to the above mentioned instability.The control response is sluggish, and has a fair amount of latency. This didn't seem to be a matter of distance from the controller, response was the same 5 feet away. Trying to avoid objects requires a fair amount of planning and wind anticipation rather than just good reflexes.The charging time is horrendous! I timed it with a stopwatch, and it took 2:39: 43 to fully charge one of the batteries. For a battery that says it lasts for 12-15 minutes of flight time, that's simply unacceptable.It would be nice if they supply an extra screw set. Given the size of the screws, if you drop one outside for any reason, wave bye-bye. For the cost of less than a penny, an additional set would be a nice touch.All in all, I want to like and recommend this, but I just can't. To those who got one they are happy with, my congratulations. For the rest of us, I feel your pain. And if you're considering giving this as a gift, be prepared to lose status as the favorite aunt or uncle, traded in for a kick in the shins.

This is an awesome little drone. Not for tiny kids, more intermediate level. It’s a lot of drone for the money.The customer service is amazing! They want you to be satisfied and are interested in anything to improve their product or the process.You can’t go wrong w this drone. It’s features are closer to a >$100 model.

I call him TicTac™, because of his light weight and ability to turn on a dime. Very accurate and has a very strong outer body shell, which is ideal for beginners. It also has an awesome customer service team headed by Rosanna which is phenomenal at best!!Thanks for all of your support and prompt recourse.This is still the best little drone for preteen, teen and young people enthusiasts. I said it before and I'll say it again, this drone is quick at turning, but the trim factor may be too high(i.e. 0.5>0.3), still having the same issue with it. My motors usually on the rear of the aircraft always goes out first😐. Still, Uranhub still keeps on up with demand, good job everyone!😁👍
