Fits my large cajon perfectly
I bought a large cajon for my studio, but sometimes we like to take it out to acoustic gatherings. I was really afraid it was going to get banged up, marring the beautiful finish. This cover caught my eye as a very good value, and it is! It fits my cajon perfectly, and I love that it has shoulder straps in addition to the carrying handle. There's a fairly large pocket in front to stow sticks, gloves, music, etc...to be sure, it's not a hard case, so it won't be protected against hard knocks, but it sure makes it easier to carry, and guards against scrapes and general bumps and jostling.Stitching is consistent and secure throughout the case.Definitely recommended!

Excellent value (for carrying boardgames)
This is a great bag for boardgames. It's not quite perfect, but it gets 5 stars because it is such a good value for the price. As others have said, the roughly 12x12 interior dimensions are perfect for many boardgames. There is a bit of padding all around, so with a little care, your boxes should be safe. Similarly, while not waterproof, I wouldn't be afraid to have it out for a short walk in a light rain. The front opens all the way, for very easy access. The zippers, top handle, and general construction appear quite solid. As others have said, it was probably only designed to hold a lightweight (hollow) drum, but I have loaded it up with several fairly heavy games (weighing about 20 pounds), and it has been fine so far.The main reason I got it was to use as a backpack, since I walk about 10 minutes each way to a local gaming event. The shoulder straps are...adequate. They are thin, constructed of nylon, with rubber sleeves to try to slightly protect your shoulders. That all works OK, but the flaw is at the bottom: The straps are not attached at the outer edges of the bag. They are inset a couple inches, which result in them kind of pinching my back. It's not bad, and I can still make it the 10 minutes without problems, but it could be better. With only the weight of a drum, it probably wouldn't be a problem at all.The backpack also sticks out much farther than a normal backpack (since it holds more), so be careful when you are turning around, to be sure you don't hit anything (or anyone). I wish it had a couple pockets or pouches.

Outstanding for Board Games
This is the best board game bag that I have ever owned. Also the cheapest board game bag that I have ever found. Which is funny, because it isn't actually a board game bag. The material and zippers are incredibly sturdy. Carrying handle on top is great, and the "backpack" straps are... adequate. Downside? No smaller compartments for card games and smaller bits & pieces. The standard size bag is PERFECT for "standard" size games... Catan, Potion Explosion, and so on.

but it works great for typical modern board game boxes
It may be designed for a musical instrument, but it works great for typical modern board game boxes.I purchased the ChromaCast CC-CBAG-S, in the Standard size. (The Large size probably works, but is a bit deeper, so typical board game boxes might slide around.)As a board game bag it's nearly ideal. It holds a pile of games. The front zips open, making it easy to display what games you've brought and to slide a single game out or back in. It's got a top; while probably not waterproof, it should protect your games from a bit of rain during the dash from car to house. It's lightly padded, helping protect the game boxes from minor dents. It has a large, comfortable, rubber-like handle at top. While it's heavy when full, it wasn't too bad.It has shoulder straps so you can wear it like a backpack. There it stumbles a bit: the traps are a bit thin, and slinging it on and off my back is awkward. But it's nice to have the option. The construction seems solid, like a mid-range backpack. The zippers are unbranded, but don't seem flimsy. The sliding parts of the backpack straps are metal. The straps are sown on, and they're not reinforced, but seem okay. It's not amazing, but I'm comfortable trusting my games to it.At least At least one Kickstarter that tempted me offered a similar bag. For $129. The ChromaCast bag is just $22. The Game Canopy is nicer, but I'm not sure it's $107 nicer. Oh, and you can get the ChromaCast bag tomorrow; the Game Canopy isn't due out until April, 2017.The bag is new, so maybe my opinion will change after a few months of use. But for now, I'm quite pleased with it.

Excellent for board games
Cajon owners beware, the board gamers have found your Cajon bags, and we love them. The inside dimensions of this bag are perfect for most square box board games - FFG living card games, Dominion, Ticket To Ride, and everything else with sub-12 inch sides. The carrying handle on the top is fairly sufficient for toting around 6+ board games to your convention or game night. The backpack straps are also useful. The padding is thick enough to protect your precious cargo from most dents and dings - is not stopping a blunt force trauma from punching a hole into Alchemists, but it does well enough stopping a bump on a table edge. You may consider other items here on Amazon for lesser concerning situations - I'm using firewood/ log carrying cases that fit 10 or more vertically. The cost on those is about half, but they provide much less protection, and are not fully enclosed. Overall, the Cajon bag gives a decent measure of protection with the convenience of top carry and backpack straps. I would NOT overload this with ultra heavy games and depend on the straps, however. I am not sure precisely how much a Cajon weighs, but I'm guessing the inside of that box is nearly all air, so boxes filled with cardboard really weigh a lot more. Use it carefully, and it will last a long while. Maybe you'll even pick up a Cajon and start a band to support your board game addiction!
