Great device.
I wish I would've had this thing along time ago. It works great, very accurate. I would recommend getting the holder that attaches to your pole, it is sold separately.

Deeper Phone Holder for Fishing Rod
Works well overall but the bands holding the phone to the fishing rod cover up some of the icons that you need to access. Had to move the straps out of the way more times than I wanted to.

Holds I-Phone Securely, Even while Casting
Used with larger, older, I-Phone 6sPlus. Works great! Even without cell phone service. Used blue thread-locker and 30lb test braided specter line, on a spinner reel. This item came with the Deeper Pro + Sonar bundle for free.

Not for large phone will not fit Samsung s24 ultra
Well made, but not for a larger phone. I have an Samsung s24 ultra. If I take my thin case off and really stretch it it barely fits over the corners. It's stretched to the limits and seems like it might break because of that. It would probably be fine for most phones. Just not the ultra. Or the iPhone max. To be fair it does says 3.5-5in screens I just didn't see that before purchasing. I wish they made one for modern large phones

Hands free device that is best suited for shore fishing.
Perfect for the Shoreline Fisherman. Would have given it 5 stars if they would make a mount for small boats that I could mount my phone on, which is what I would have preferred, working from a poly 14.5 ft bass boat. They make a mount that clamps onto the boat for the sonar, just need a reliable mount for the smart phone to be hands free.

only good for SMALLLLL phones.
This rig is NOT ment for a bigger sized phone(or tablet) like the ZTE grand max 2. I bought the grand max 2 JUST for the reason I wanted a bigger screen for my STUPID DEEPER SONAR and I get a holder for a FLIP PHONE... what the heck??? Do you THINK you could sell BIGGER sizes? maybe someone is using a TABLET, how are they going to put it on the ROD with this small thing? ALSO, why doesn't the DEEPER PRO+ show ROCKS and LOGS on the bottom of the water? I get snagged up ALL the time, DEEPER shows a "FLAT" bottom, but GEEZ-OH-MAN when the water level drops 3 feet I see massive rock structure that people built to hold FISHING RODS when the water level was LOW... WHY didn't it show up on the SONAR???????? You need 2 people, 1 to hold the TABLET or extra large phone and the other to cast and retrieve. I am SO upset I spent $240 on my DEEPER SONAR that doesn't work in 3.5 feet of water and NOW I purchase a HOLDER that can't hold my phone.... :( :(
