Kitchen Knife Ceramic | 6" Chef Knife by Coiwin

I am completely glad I bought this knife! I’ve always doubted the durability of ceramic knives, but this one cancelled all of that!Easy to clean, feels great in the hand, and STAYS sharp!I’m glad I took the chance on it, and would recommend it!!

Comfortable handle. Good feel. Very sharp. Cuts excellently. Looks great. Cleans up under running water. Stores in its included sheath.Of course, since it's ceramic, I'm being very careful not to bend it or chip the blade. So, no slicing meat from a bone, cutting food in the pan, or using it without a cutting board. Cutting and slicing on a cutting board works great.I deducted one star because of the extra care required.

For the price the knife seems like a good deal. However, once I got it I was very disappointed that the knife was what I considered barely sharp. Designwise it's nice and feels good in the hand but it has difficulty in cleanly cutting sheet paper, a common test for sharpness.

not very sharp dont you dare to drop these seramic knives they break all the time

UPDATE from August 6, 2018: My first knife was dull but, after a few emails to and from seller, they sent me a new knife and this one IS sharp and did slice through my tomato like butter. Thank you so much for the new knife. Yes, I would buy another one if I needed one from this company.I just got this and was excited to use it. I have a small ceramic paring knife and it's VERY sharp but too small for some jobs. So, I ordered this one and right out of the package it would NOT even slice my tomato. I don't know if I got a lemon or not, but I expected it to be SHARP......just like my small one. I tried to sharpen it, but it wouldn't sharpen either. VERY disappointed in this. I think I'll write the company to see if maybe I got a bad one out of a lot.

I'm not sure for the test of time but for now it's a very easy all around useful knife. Whether I'm chopping mincing slicing.

Bought this 6" Chef Knife by Coiwin a replacement for our previous ceramic kitchen knife. Good qualify, BPA free, super sharp, light weight and easy to clean. The black blade means no color stain after cutting carrots, dragon fruit and beet root. Enjoy using this everyday.

This is our 2nd ceramic knife purchase. The first was whit and showed staining all the time. This black knife always looks the same, no messy staining and seems to be keeping a sharp edge. The feel is quite nice as well.
