Flawed after 3 months
Intially I was happy as this device saved me the money all I want to put on external car stereo Kit for toyota Corolla 2011. Then after device started disconnecting for every 20 mins whenever I connected thru Bluetooth. I was given a replacement even then the same result. I could see same issue persists for IOS devices from the recent reviews. When I contacted the customer care they gave me a software update. After doing that still, the device disconnects. Its annoying when I am driving. Bought a 32 GB flashdrive as an another option. Formatted to FAT32 but the device couldnt read. It was able to read only 8GB flashdrive. If you are trying to upgrade your car stereo I wont recommend this.

Works well, sounds great, and is an all-around very nice device
So far so good. The device was easy to setup and pair with. When I get in the car it pairs very quickly, and the voice guidance is nice. The gentleman's voice sounds very natural. 5/5Sound quality is MUCH better than I had expected. I haven't used an FM transmitter in years because the older ones were terrible. Now I wish I'd picked one up earlier. I get no static or interference, and everything sounds great. It sounds almost as good as my CD player. Aux in works well too, and it comes with an aux cable. 5/5Navigating the device is easy. There are a couple buttons to change the FM station, which are the only ones I really use. I don't believe there is a Scan function. You'll need to find a clear station in your own. Usually, though, scan functions aren't that good, so I don't consider it a loss, and once you've found a station you're likely to leave it there forever. The Mode button switches between BT, USB, and SD Card. Everything else I do on the phone. 4/5Playing songs on the USB seems to simply play them in whatever order they're in on the drive. There could be other ways to do it, but I don't use this function so haven't tried to figure it out. 3/5Calls work okay, but I wasn't expecting them to be amazing. People can hear me, but say there is some noise, as you'd expect in a car. 3.5/5The charger is the only thing I was disappointed with as it is only a 2.1 amp charger, and thus won't Quick Charge/Turbocharge my phone. That said, it is faster than a normal 1amp charger, and I couldn't find another transmitter that had a much better charger, so it is basically in line with everything else. Additionally, Quick change capable chargers are often sold for half of what I paid for this device. Your shouldn't expect a budget device to have to of the line features. 3.5/5I debated between this device and the newer model without the bendable neck. This one sticks out 3 or 4 inches and works well because my lighter port is recessed. That said I think the other one would have worked, as this one does stick out quite far. The screen doesn't provide a ton of info that I find very useful, so I wish it were smaller. In fact, I think the whole thing is too big as I never use most of the buttons, and the screen really only needs to display a small amount of info. Otherwise it looks very nice, the edges are precise, and the plastic does not feel cheap. For looks 4/5.

I've tested every aspect of it and it works perfectly.
I just received this yesterday so I'll give first impressions and update the review as time goes on. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 in case someone needs that info. I unboxed the unit and it looks nice and sleek. Buttons are big and easy to see from a distance. The instructions were pretty well done and understandable, unlike many Chinese to English translated product manuals. I plugged in the unit and it immediately displayed my vehicle voltage. I went to bluetooth and selected the device and it paired quickly, saying "paired" in a male computer voice. Turned on my FM stereo and selected a station that is unused in my area and selected the same frequency in the Nulaxy and my radio went from hissing to dead silent. I started up the music and it played great and sounded great. I turned up my phone volume all the way and set the Nulaxy volume to max and that gives me complete control of volume with my steering wheel control for my stereo. The sound is not quite as crisp as playing a CD but it is really good. When I say not as crisp, I mean there is a very slight muffling to the music's highs and lows coming from the device which might be caused by the noise reduction or something, I don't know, but it is not enough to cause me to drop a star in the review.Next I plugged in an 8GB thumb drive and instantly the music began to play from it. I was able to navigate inside folders and choose songs to play, skip to the next song, back and forth, just like the manual says you can. I was also able to change the play mode from single track to repeat track to play all just like the manual says you can. Strangely, the music from the thumb drive seems a bit more clear and crisp than playing from the phone. I assume that bluetooth wireless loses some of the fidelity of the music file or it is possibly my imagination. Finally I went back to the phone music and while playing I said out loud, "OK Google, call (wife's name)" and my phone responded and called my wife without me touching anything including the phone button on the Nulaxy! The conversation muted the music and she said I sounded clear and it worked flawlessly. Then I asked her to call me back while I plugged in the thumb drive again and was listening to music. This time I used the phone button to answer the call and it muted the thumb drive music while we talked, then resumed the music when we hung up.At this point I haven't tested the phone charger port, nor have I tried my 32GB MicroSD card that is half full of music but I'll get to that in the next day or so. At this point, I am very satisfied, actually kind of blow away at how good this thing works, especially for the price. I've had others and the software was cranky and parts of the functionality didn't work as advertised. But this one works. It also hasn't lost bluetooth connectivity with my phone yet and I used it all the way from home to work this morning, about 15 miles, with no interruption in connectivity. I will update my review once I've tried the other features.By the way, the orientation of the plug/charging port is 180 degrees different than the photo of this unit in the ad, which is a good thing for me. I would rather the charging port be below the face of the unit than behind itUpdate: 4-25-2018 OK, I've now used the 32GB Micro SD card and it works perfect also. My music is all organized into folders and as soon as you insert the card, the music inside the first folder alphabetically listed starts to play. Hold on the play/stop button and it stops playing and shows you the folders. You can navigate the folders using the next/previous buttons and select the folder using the play button, then navigate through the list of songs and you can start playing at what ever song you choose.I also tested the charge port on the plug and it works just fine. So, as long as this unit lasts a while, I couldn't be more satisfied!Updated 5-1-2018: I've noticed that even switching from SD card to USB drive while leaving the SD card installed and playing music from the USB drive, once I remove the USB drive, it remembers where the last song played was on the SD card and starts again on that song. Just a small thing but I like how the programmers paid attention to small details like this. So far it hasn't lost connectivity with my phone yet, even on a 4 hour drive Saturday it never missed.Updated 7-19-2019: This thing is still working like it was new! I've got a new phone and it connected just as easily as the old phone did. It plays in my Grand Cherokee every day all the time I'm in the vehicle. Since my phone is a work phone and I'm on call 24/7 I have only synced my phone with it. When I have been traveling, we will hook the charger up to one of our phones and generally we listen to the audio on streaming videos off her phone using the 1/8" jack. This allows the unit to mute that line in while I am receiving a call on my phone which takes precedence. I have two cigar lighter jacks in the dash so we keep another charger plugged into jack #2 so we could charge both phones at the same time. I keep a 32gb micro SD plugged into the unit and have scads of music, the entire bible audio, and probably other stuff I forgot was there. This unit has outlasted my expectations! It is so worth every cent spent and much more. It has brought my 13 year old Grand Cherokee into the modern age!
