Self-Amalgamating Tape?
When I saw this, I thought Self-Amalgamating Tape.Which it is, but it isn't.Self-amalgamating is ethylene propylene rubber, and by wrapping it over itself, it binds together.I've used this for making watertight seals, such as repairing leaks in pipes, hoses, and tubes, plus sticking other things.Silicone tape is, well, silicone, and it's thinner than the "plumbers tape", and should work at higher temperatures.Silicone tape is self-fusing, so it sticks to itself, and here comes in a range of colours.It was originally developed as an alternative to PVC electrical tape.So, a raft of uses, and I am glad to have this in the tool box to try out.
