Redmond Rk M170S E Smart Sky Electric Kettle, 1. 7 Litre, 2400 W, Black

Getting the kettle out of the box I knew I was going to love it. To start the kettle does not feel cheep. The bace is very sturdy, you can tuck the unneeded cable underneath. The jug is light and easy to fill, although there is a filter cover inside the spout its not that easy to fill from the spout, I just pop the lid. Place on the dock and press what you want. From boil to a selection of different temperature is very easy to heat the water to the required temperature you want. The dock lights up and tells you what temperature you are heating the water to. If you wish to stop there is a start stop button.Now the fun bit, controlling you kettle by an app from any where in the world! This for me is normally my sofa. First getting the app. This was a bit of the pain as the information and name of the app was writing in tiny letters at the bottom the box. Look it has an app put a huge sticker on the front with the name of it. The app is called " Ready for Sky" which can be confusing with Sky TV. Anyway once downloaded the instructions on the app were really straight forward. I paired the kettle with my phone through the app. It instructed me that the firmware in the kettle needed updating which it downloaded and then installed. This took ages, after 15mins of it telling me it was installing I cancelled the update. I went back deleting the app. Downloaded it again and boom it seen my kettle and it was all ready for me to travel the world. From the app interface it tells you the temperature of the water in your kettle right now, mine is 43'c at pressent. It lets you choose what temperature you would like it to heat up to and whether you want that water to stay at that temperature. I must say that there is one huge draw back to all of this I need to first manually fill the kettle with water.I would say I am rather confused about the woman advertising the kettle on the box. I know sex sells but why was she there? But then I got thinking, is she there next product. A humanoid robot that you too will be able to control with your phone. Im now wondering when Judgment day comes and the machines realise that us humans are obsolete are they going to start by refusing to boil water so I can have my morning cup of tea?

Verbesserungsbedürftig, weil der Deckel sich nicht öffnen lässt.Erst wenn man beim 5 mal auf den Knopf drückt, was bei diesem Preis nicht zu erwarten sein müsste.Ansonsten total tolles Design wer Blumen liebt.Naja und der Bluetooth wirft dich auch raus und man sucht wieder nach dem Gerät bzw man muss nur im neben zimmer bleiben.Leider geht er zurück auf Grund von dem defektem Deckelöffner..

Wirklich ein Blickfang in der Küche, aber die App hakt manchmal und findet ihn nicht.Für den Preis ist das etwas enttäuschend.
