T is for Trespass: A Kinsey Millhone Novel

This was a very good read. Once you get started and begin piecing all the stories together you get hooked!

I do not remember that Sue Grafton's other mysteries are as dark and chilling as this one. Carefully put together with villains who are both evil and banal. One of the pleasures of this series is the author's meticulous reconstruction of the late 1980's world before the arrival of computers and cell phones. This is a bit like stepping into a time capsule. Recommended

The book started a little slow but really holds your interest once you get into it. The twists and turns keep coming to the end. Food for thought in the Epilogue.

Neat way in which two 'stories', (Gus, the Hoarder and Solana, the Caregiver), colide in this compelling MUST READ NOVEL . RECOMMENDED READING ! ! I agree about Solana's character . . .SHE IS ONE BAD COOKIE ! ! ! DON'T MESS WITH HER ! !!

The story line was intriguing, it was fast paced and kept the reader excited. The characters in this story are fascinating, some are regulars and the villains are realistic. I highly recommend this book and I have followed the author for a long time

Don’t start this book at night if you need to be awake early the next morning. This book is impossible to put down.

This Solana character is devious, and the story races along, with warm, wonderful and wicked others scattered along the way.It’s prime Sue Grafton!

The second time I read this book, I found myself enjoying it as much as I did the first. Sue Grafton's mastery of suspense and her gift of words held me enthralled despite my familiarity with the plot. I'm sure I'll be reading this again when searching for a mystery to keep me entertained for a few hours while waiting for the villain to be brought to justice.

Elongated heavily, I never gotta feeling of suspense while reading this book

ハヤカワから邦訳が出なくなったようなのでSから原書に挑戦中です。今回はKindle版にしたので単語をロングタップで簡単に辞書検索でき、医療用語など専門用語も多かったけれどとても楽になりました。前半部分は少し平板…でも久しぶりに触れるキンジーと仲間たちの日常も微笑ましく。敵役の内情の描写も、人物像が後々立体感を増幅させて行き面白かった。後半どんどん凄くなります…高齢のご近所さんが転倒、要介護になり怪しいヘルパーさんが入り込み…いつもながら看過できず危険を冒すキンジーですが、今回は彼女自身のごく身近で起こった事だけに胸に迫る展開になります。最後は淡々と詳しく語られないままのことも多く、その分余計に提示された個々人の様々な在り方が彷彿され、複雑な味わいが残りました。スー・グラフトンは人間の奇妙さ人生の難しさに興味がある人におすすめかも知れません。残された作品を大事に読んで行きたいと思わせる作品でした。

Definitely one of her best. What an awesome read.
