Crowned with Glory: The Bible from Ancient Text to Authorized Version

Good book and well researched, if you want a good start from someone who has done the research i would recommend this one as it deals with relevant and popular topics you will come up against when discussing new bibles against the kjv. Well worth it !!

This is a very thorough defense of why the Traditional Text that is the basis for the KJV bible is superior to the modern translations which are based on the Critical Text. The author gives the reader an in-depth explanation of the arguments for and against the Traditional Text. When I finished this book I really felt the majority of the evidence supports the KJV and it’s source the Traditional Text. The arguments put forth by defenders of the modern versions such as James White become shallow and superficial to me after reading Crowned With Glory although they sound reasonable when first heard without any opposing argument. If you are a Christian and confused as to why there are modern bibles that provide translations with different conflicting meanings and missing or added words from the KJV, you need to read this book! It provides a solid foundation of supporting evidence in great detail that shows the KJV Bible is the one that has preserved Gods word, as silver refined in the furnace seven times (Psa 12:6-7). Just like He promised He would do!
