G8P-1A4P-12VDC 30A 250VAC Fully-Sealed PCB Relay for PC Board or Panel-Mounted, Solve F01 Code Problem of Dryer, with Soldering Sucker Pump

I had the dreaded no start issue with our older Whirlpool Cabrio WED6600VU0 dryer. Initial diagnosis and Googling led me to replacing the mainboard as I had about 6-7 years ago for the same issue.Luckily this time, I dug a little further and found the power pin on the OE installed relay was burned through the PCB. I ordered this kit, desoldered the original, cleaned things up with some rubbing alcohol, and soldered the new one in. Worked like a charm for some time, effort, and way less $ invested.The mainboard was $400+ IF I could find one in-stock, which was pretty much eBay refurbs or folks that had 1-2 in stock at $500+. At those prices, I could damn near buy a new dryer! Well $20-ish bucks later, fixed it myself.Worth looking into and doing if you like some DIY or have ever soldered before, this is actually a pretty easy job. Lots on YouTube for how to replace relays on circuit boards, and the washer itself was easy to dig into with basic tools.

This works great but since these are sealed there is no way to see if they are working or not. The old one was tested and it appeared to be working just fine. What we found was the traces on the IC board were not large enough to handle the current. It burned through the trace where the Relay came through the board. Replace the Rely with this one and it works well. Replaced the trace with small wire all works well and there have been no issues.

I also had to also fix a trace that popped, but totally fixed my Kenmore dryer with this. Glad it's bundled with solder sucker. Performing repair is fast for those with experience doing through-hole soldering projects.

This was to repair our dryer. Once I got the removal and soldering part figured out, it was a piece of cake. No problems with the dryer since replacing this part.

I Sutter the relay in the board for my wife’s dryer and it worked great. Save me $200.

This was a great part to repair my dryer. Buying this part and installed it myself save hundreds of dollars. After seeing the repair on YouTube, I was able to take the circuit board from the dryer and desolder the part and resolder the new part on the circuit board and put things back together. I had the dryer back working in 30 minutes top. Didn’t have to do an expensive service call or buy a new dryer. Fixed less than $13.00.
