My daughter wanted a winter jacket for her doll. The jacket is a bit thin but looks really nice. I wasn’t crazy about the boots and the rest of the set. The hat doesn’t fit the dolls head (journey girl) and is not made of a stretchy material. The jacket however compares to one my daughter wanted from the American Girl store at a fraction of the price.

It was nice being able to find seasonal outfits.

Most of this outfit is black, and some piece of it stained the (white) boots with indelible black smears. I tested the black items (hat, shirt, pants) on a spare doll body I have, and after just four days all three left permanent black marks on the doll. DO NOT put the black items on a doll and leave them, because the doll WILL stain. I would be very cautious about putting the (black) shirt, leggings, or hat on a doll at all, even for a short amount of time, until you soaked or washed them to death, lest you stain the doll. It's a shame, because everything seems well-made and they'd be cute boots if they weren't both smudged all over the front. Stain cleaner won't take the stains off, nor bleach. Disappointing.The coat is lined in white, though, so it's safe to put on a doll without worrying about dye transfer so long as none of the black accents are touching the doll's body.As an update: I hand-washed and soaked the hat, leggings, and sweater repeatedly until they stopped turning the water black, then ran then through my washing maching in a normal load of laundry, and that fixed the staining issue. (though it did turn the white collar of the sweater a greyish tinge.) If you do this procedure first, you will be able to safely put the outfit on a doll. DO NOT USE THIS OUTFIT WITHOUT WASHING FIRST. The seller should really put a disclaimer up before more children's dolls are ruined forever.

My daughter got this for her American girl doll so she would be cold lol. Well made abs fits the dol perfectly!

The quality of the product was above expectations. Great product.

My 9 yr. old bought this outfit with her allowance, and it was well worth it. She loves it so much. The quality of the clothes is awesome. Very well put together.
