Great for slack belt grinding
These are pretty nice belts. They are very thin and flexible, which make them fantastic for grinding on the slack of the belt, especially on wood. The belts have enough "give" to bend to contours, and the edges of the belt wont dig in like thicker and stiffer belts. They also leave a very nice finish on metals when used on a flat platen. They dont seem to compromise the strength however, I run these pretty hard and fast. The "extra long life" part isn't too far off. They do last way longer than aluminum oxide belts, but they're ceramic, of course they do. They seem to be on par or very slightly better then similar ceramic belts, which is fine, considering most other ceramic belts are more expensive. Also these belts will twist up like a slinky if left outside. It's probably due to how thin they are, and maybe humidity too. I get around this by leaving them coiled up in the box they come in, and using them one at a time. The tension my belt grinder holds on them keeps them nice and straight. All in all, these belts are worth every penny, they are just as nice as much more expensive belts, and even better in some respects.

Not very durable tend to cup and get so tangled up not worth the time to use again will add photo
For the price I think you would be better served looking else where they have a bad tendency to get super tangled up after a use to the point were its I haven't used the first 2 of the 6 pack I bought due to the hassle of trying to untangle is not worth the time the backing is not very durable maybe I got a bad batch but I'm not super impressed wish I didn't experience this issue as a knife maker and working with alot of metal I use belts alot

Durable
Made my own knife maker belt sander after reading about people that have them. Got it done and put in standard run of the mill sanding belt. Not impressed. Thought I'd spent a lot for nothing on motor, special wheels etc. Found these belts and was thrown by the price. Ah-ah. A case of getting what you pay for. Put these on my knife maker sander and it was a different machine. They last forever and eat metal away as if it were balsa wood. I'll never go back to any other belt.

Great finishing belts.
These belts are fantastic for finishing hardened steel with a fairly high-speed belt grinder. They seem to last a long time as long as you don't grind with them. Attempts to grind with these belts will wear them out extremely quickly given the fine grit.

Awesome flex belt.
Love these belts, produce a uniform and perfect sanded finish on heat treated metals. Last a good while if not bearing down too hard on them during grinding. used for slacking they are supple and produce beautiful edges with smooth transitions. No bump in the belt join which is great.

Lasts A Very Long Time
Took a chance on these and I'm glad I did. Ceramic belts really do last longer, a lot longer. I could not believe how long I was able to use this belt, will buy again. Even after grinding about 20 blades it was still cutting, and even then I was able to continue using it to rough out more blades.
