Worked great out the box. Easy to bind with the receiver. Gyro function is great. The range is outstanding. Brought another receiver and run 3 cars with the same remote a 2wd rustler on 3s, a 2wd slash and my 6s sledge

This is probably “the” best multi-model surface radio system out there that’s under $100. For what you pay, you should get much less - but you don’t. RadioLink equipment while “cheaper” than Futaba/Sanwa/etc is an insane value. I have this system in my Traxxas Slash that I race in a Spec Slash Off-Road class. It takes a BEATING, and I have never experienced any control link issues, even with 10+ other racers at the same time. The transmitter is feature rich, multiple mixes if you need them, gyro adjustment on the receiver, expo, EPA, everything you’ll find on higher end systems at a fraction of the price.

I had to return this particular one because it had a dead spot in the steering. When turing the wheel to the right, about halfway, the steering signal is already maxed while the travel in the wheel is only half way. Super easy replacement and the replacement worked great. I have 2 of these and besides build quality, functionally, they are perfect. May not have as many options as $300+ controllers but for RC cars, it has far more features than you could ever want... for me anyways.

This is my second one of these transmitters I love these radios. This one came with 2 receivers with gyros they were already bound to the radio the instructions are easy to follow and easy to program. It has lots of options. The gyros work good.
