"Ceramic serving container with Renaissance decoration. The Ceramics Cultural Association of Montughi (Associazione Culturale Ceramiche a Montughi) was established with the goal of promoting the culture and teaching of ceramics in its various artistic forms, by imparting the technical and practical skills essential to cultivating an art form otherwise at risk of dying out. Proud of continuing this Florentine artistic tradition, ceramics master and founding partner Romano Pampaloni produces works in majolica, through ancient methods that have remained unchanged for centuries. After a process of drying and firing, the works are vividly brought to life by Nicoletta Malavolti, who decorates each piece by hand. "
