We especially appreciated the descriptions of the cultural attractions, and included the Huntington Library and Gardens, the missions in Carmel and above Solvang, the Ronald Reagan Library, etc etc. The maps and tips are always excellent. We will use again on our next trip, hopefully in 2019. It is also small enough to carry in a medium size purse, so its functionality in terms of size a real plus. I lost the one I had when I moved to LA. I had to buy a replacement to find all the quirky spots along any drive. Simply awesome for a road trip and for learning about an area's unique facts, history and much more.

great pictures, nice facts
Organized well, great pictures, nice facts. Also unlike other travel books the pictures are spread throughout and the pages are thick and glossy....not like a textbook with black and white pictures. This is great and worth the money!

Excellent teavel guide to California
I am abig fan of DK Eyewitnesss Travel esp for travel abroad . I found there is somuch info packed in domestic travel as well. Even if you stay for 1 mo. you can bately see all the things mentioned hete. Even if you donot travel, there is lot of info here.
