35' "Comet Central Vacuum Attachment Kit with Hose, Power Head & Tools - Works with All Brands of Central Vacuum Units

I've had this vacuum kit for about a month now, and so far I'm pretty happy with the quality. I communicated with the vender through Amazon right away to specify my cord type, and I think because of that, the unit arrived much faster than advertised. Some have commented that the hose is thin and lightweight. Actually, I have found this to be an advantage over our old Electrolux setup. This hose is much easier to drag around the house. It's plenty tough. I accidentally stepped on the hose, and it bounced right back, so no problem there. The power head seems well constructed and does what it's supposed to. The extension wand is all metal, and of much higher quality than our Electrolux's all plastic. I can't say much about the floor brush however. It works just OK, as the bristles fully surround the vacuum port, so sometimes you have to lift the head to capture the dirt so it can be vacuumed up. My old brush had some of the front row of bristles removed "like missing teeth" to allow the dirt to get through. I may perform surgery on these bristles to modify them. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase and excellent customer service.

This works just as well as the more expensive brands other than the motorized rug part is not as powerful as far as pulling itself with long, but you can get a good workout in your arms if you look at it that way and it’s a lot cheaper I love that it comes with a mop for the hardwood floors. I’ve never had that before, and that’s a great feature . I have probably had 10 in-house vacuums. This is very acceptable for the money..

This is a great unit. Highly recommend it. The vac head is quiet, powerful, articulates so you can get into places with ease, height is low so it goes under sofas, controls are convenient and logical with an off, vacuum only and vac plus rotary head option, head fairly light weight. While the hose is larger than my old hose, the hose connection fit into my 40+ year old outlet. That was a real concern before purchase. BUT . . . the hose is some 40 ft long! This is great for a home with one outlet per floor. We have several so I spend time and effort managing the hose while vacuuming so I don’t trip or step on it and to keep it out of the way. It is an inconvenience, for sure. Still a great unit.

My hose works ok and attachments are ok but the vacuum broke after hardly any use…our garage unit was down so this vacuum sat in the box until recently then broke immediately. Also looks nothing like the picture but I was so new to central vacuums at the time I bought this crap…shop American made that’s what we did with the unit in the garage and it’s amazing. I’ll be replacing this junk with something made in America.

Purchased as an upgrade for existing cv system. Very pleased with the overall quality of the components and would recommend this to any one looking to enhance existing or new cv. My opinion this kit offers great value for the price.

I grew up with central vac and love the system. We recently set it up in our home and have been looking around locally pricing hoses and all of the parts. A little shop down the street told us that a 30' hose started at $200. We were floored! I had no idea how much these things cost. However, we were happy to find that amazon offered better prices, and for package deals which is a huge bonus knowing that everything is compatible with each other. I was nervous about the quality because of the huge price difference but I am happy to report that everything that comes in this kit surpassed my expectations! I love the bag it comes with to organize the attachments, the pole extension is smooth and flawless and the beater bar has amazing suction. Very pleased, and highly recommend!

This kit was a perfect replacement for my 7-year-old vac. I was quick to specify the type of connector with the seller, and that was taken care of very quickly without any delay.I did run into a problem. The motorized vac had suddenly quit, and I thought it was a defect, as I have only used the vac a few times. Turned out that the rug I vacuumed must have tripped a sensor, and while I thought about being out a few hundred bucks, I obviously filed for a return. The customer service person (Lukasz) was very quick to reply as to ask whether I pressed the red reset button on the power unit. I felt like a really dumb person, because obviously, that fixed the problem.I was just so happy to fix the problem that I felt it appropriate to write a review. It is an awesome cleaner, and the agitation of the carpet releases so much of that debris that I honestly dis not want to seek out a replacement. Canadian quality, and that is unparalleled. Outstanding customer service with an excellent product makes for a very happy customer. My carpet deserves the best, and I'm really pleased with the result.

So we bought this vacuum system to replace our 10 year old vacuum head for our central vacuum. It worked great for the first year, but then quickly started loosing power, and then the motor got so weak it would get hot and then shut down. There is a reset button on the back, but it won't stay going for longer than a minute. Given our old one lasted 10 years this is pretty disappointing. The attachments are nice though, so not a complete loss.
