This book is funny and teaches kid’s responsibility to take care of their things or their teachers things at school. I used this with my class to have them take care of my things otherwise the pencils would go on strike.

My students were losing their pencils constantly so I read this book as a way to discuss managing pencils. It was highly engaging and a cute story

This is a nice book to teach kids on being responsible. It’s an easy read and something they can relate to.

My students loved when the Chairs went on Strike, now the Pencils! Another great story by the author that teaches students what could happen when we don't take care of our school supplies.

Books that don't rhyme are good. Books that rhyme and have a good meter (eg. Iambic pentameter) are good. Books that try to rhyme, but have a poor (or no) meter are terribly hard to read out loud to my child. This book falls into the last category.

Great read for the classroom.
