The Best Sprouter
This is my favorite new kitchen gadget. I always have a batch sprouting. It general it takes 3-4 days but you usually can eat some after 2 days. In AZ we have higher summer temps inside than the hot spot for sprouting but I still get great results. GEFU makes good looking products. This is actually nice looking on the counter. Most of the other sprouters are ugly and plastic. The way the seeds drain is a better system than other sprouters I have tried. The same seeds yield bigger sprouts out of this one than others I have bought from Amazon. I will probably get another one. A true 5 star product. Simple and works great!

Great sprouting jars
These jars are very handy for sprouting. I've been using mason jars with mesh lids but these are so easy to use and look much nicer. The top pushes on and there is a water collection tray to prevent water from going everywhere and to help keep the moisture in the jar. I haven't had any problems with mold or fungal growths. If you see white fuzz on the roots, that's actually part of the roots and completely normal. Sprouting with these jars is a very easy way to add some healthy home-grown greens in your diet.

Love the quality
I love this jar and how sleek it looks on my counter. It works perfectly well and I have not had any issues with mold others noted. Is it expensive? Yes. But it feels and works much better than the $7.99 Mason jar with lid I had before - definitely finer mesh and a nice water trapping dish as well. I am personally fine paying a little bit more for quality than continuing supporting hundreds of unknown, nameless Chinese manufacturers on Amazon.

Looks good and sprouts seeds like it should
I used to have the multi-tier sprouting trays, but I wanted something more space-saving and perhaps a bit more attractive on my kitchen counters, so I purchased this sprputing jar.It looks great on my kitchen counter and definitely saved a ton of space. Cleaning is a breeze. I read other comments about molding, but I have not experienced this problem and I never had that problem with the sprouting trays either. I think that if you rinse the seeds twice a day as the instructions tell you to do, you won't have mold.As for the water getting traped, you can slowly tilt the jar slightly side-to-side to let the water drain out and problem solved.I love this product and am contemplating ordering a second one so that I won't have to wait for another batch if sprouts. The only possible complaint that I have is the cost.

Sprouting for the new generation
I was one of those who did alfalfa sprouting in a mason jar with cheesecloth. All still very doable, but somehow I got away from it. When I researched and found this jar, I was intrigued to return to that healthy practice. I'm so glad that I splurged on this - the design is great - the little feet hold the inverted jar in a stable, draining position while the tray catches the excess water. Super easy to use, no obsessing about damp, stained cheesecloth. Really like it and appreciate that it is so attractive too. On my fourth batch of sprouts now. Recommended.

Great product!!
There seem to be a multitude of health benefits from consuming raw sprouts. The only real risk is that when you don't know where they come from or how they're handled, they can be harmful. This product easily allows me to grow my own in 3-5 days, depending on what type of seeds I use. It was very easy to use and easy to clean. I wash mine after each use and allow it to dry completely between uses. I love my sprouting jar!

No mold!
I’ve been using this for a few days after doing a lot of research on different seed sprouters. I was recently using a tray sprouter, but kept finding my seeds moldy after just 48 hours. NOTE that I do live in a hot, humid climate but keep the house approximately 70 degrees.I followed the instructions for this seed sprouter (which are not very detailed, so if you’re looking for some support into your seed-sprouting foray, this kit is not for you). I’m not sure how long the seeds take to sprout completely (as, noted above, instructions gave no indications about this nor when to stop rinsing daily etc) but here in this photo you’ll see what I’ve got on day 4. Mini sprouts, but they can’t possibly be finished? Should it be taking this long? It is a good sign that I have yet to smell or see any mold though. This jar is very easy to use in comparison to the tray sprouter I was using. The mesh makes it easy to rinse multiple times a day and also keeps the moisture from pooling up inside, keeping the mold at bay. Will plan to post an update as seeds continue to sprout.
