Hand made in beautiful stained glass! Every material I use is made in the USA. Right down to the cleaning chemicals. Using no plastic, or painted parts this tree topper will make a wonderful family heirloom and will last many decades if well taken care of. I have been making and selling these since 2006 when I gave one to welcome my Jewish sister-in-law into our mixed religion family.....she loved the thought so much, and I am so happy and honored to see many others are also enjoying them! The idea of placing a Star of David atop a Holiday tree has been around for many, many years.....since the early 50's that I am aware of, and probably long before then. Each star takes around 3 hours from start to finish. Each of the 12 pieces of glass are hand cut, ground smooth, foiled and soldered. This listing is for my MEDIUM version, for an average tree (4-6 feet) and measures 7" diameter. Weighs 4.10 oz. USES 1/2 COBALT BLUE GLASS 1/2 CLEAR FROSTED GLASS that will let light pass. The solder lines are silver. THE BASE OPENING IS 3/4". The wire is securely soldered deep into the back of the star and is not adjustable. If the spike on top of your tree is weak the topper will surely tip. I include care instructions and more tips others have shared to get it to sit perfectly.
