Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker BB-8 Kitchen Timer - With Lights and Sounds from the Movies

I love this little timer...it is so cute!! I was going to get the R2-D2 timer but found out it didn't make the authentic sound...that was a real bummer because I love that little robot!! But, this one is just perfect - we are really enjoying it. So much fun to hear...LOL. I even sent one to my son who is a Star Wars freak! He loves his too. He was also disappointed when I told him about the R2-D2 not making the noise the character does. What's with that anyway?? Get with it Disney

I got this as a present for my mom as a kitchen timer. My mom thinks the sounds it makes is hilarious and she's familiar with the star wars movies. She isn't the best when it comes to differentiating the sounds on her phone (if she sets the timer there) so this worked out perfectly since it's loud enough for her to hear and doesn't mistake it for someone calling her or texting her on her phone. Makes for a great gift and a funny added accent to the kitchen.

This thing is so cute! Some people have noted that it's not very practical as a kitchen timer. I would have to disagree. We used to use our microwave as the kitchen timer, but this little bb8 timer is so much easier to use. You just pick it up and twist his head, and you're set! It even makes a little noise to let you know it's turned itself on. I can hear it when it goes off from the other side of the apartment, so I wouldn't suggest using it to time your tea at 3am while your spouse is sleeping. Lol

And if you happen to have a sci-fi obsessed kid, this BB-8 makes an awesome sidekick for pomodoros of cleaning & homework & just about anything else that your kid would usually resist.It’s very well made & the sounds that come out of it still crack us up every time. We all talk back to BB now. This little timer has brought a lot of lightness and laughter into our home.

BB-8 is a family favorite in our house. We use this as a fun and useful way to set time limits whether it's 2 minutes of brushing teeth or 30 minutes of screen time, etc. and it has been very useful and well received. Once you turn the head it makes a sound and then a longer sound once the time is up.We have used it all the way up to 60 minutes and it's accurate. It's very cute.

This is perfect. I use a timer a lot when I watch my grandsons. Time outs on electronic devices...etc.They love this timer also, and want to set it all the time to hear it's final beeps when time is up.My 10 yr old grandson says he didn't realize how fast 15 minutes go buy when using this timer.It also has a red light that flashes every second....a slow flash, so not disturbing to watch.

Well made, decent sound. More novelty than functional in the kitchen (not very loud, hard to tell if it is actually moving). It does not tic, some sort of infrared technology to keep time, needs batteries. It is fairly bulky for a kitchen timer. But I needed something for a gift exchange with a bunch of nerds and it was pretty well received.

My son loves this timer! We use it to monitor his screen time. He used to get upset when we’d tell him it was time to turn the electronics off, but now it’s not a problem. He really enjoys setting the timer and he turns off the electronics when it goes off.

Ein echt süßes Teil für jeden Star Wars Fan. Leider gibt mein BB8 nach genau einem Jahr keinen Ton mehr von sich, man kann die Zeit noch einstellen und er läuft sie auch brav herunter, aber eben tonlos. Am Ende der Zeit bliinkt er nur, es kommt aber kein Ton mehr heraus. Schade, für diesen Betrag müsste das Teil länger halten.

Nachem ich den BB8 Geschenkebuddy erhalten hatte, merkte ich rasch, dass die Timerfunktion leider defekt war.Ich nahm also Kontakt mit dem Verkäufer auf und muss sagen, dieses Kundenservice kann sich wirklich sehen lassen!Promptest wurde mein Anliegen beantwortet und auch ein Lösungsvorschlag gebracht - nachdem alles nichts half, bekam ich sofort kostenlos Ersatz geschickt.Der neue BB 8 funktioniert nun einwandfrei und sieht echt klasse aus!!Kann diese Küchenuhr nur jedem Star Wars Fan empfehlen - kommt bestimmt auch als Geschenk super gut an!

Der kleine Küchentimer kam gut und sicher verpackt bei mir an.Ich habe ihn als Beigabe zu einem Geburtstagsgeschenk gewählt!Mit knapp 27€ ist das Teil recht hochpreisig, dafür ist es aber auch kein "0-8-15" Produkt und Star Wars Fans haben ihren Spass daran!

Habe mir die Küchenwaage bestellt, weil sie hier bei Amazon sehr viel billiger war als im Geschäft :)Der Versand ging sehr schnell. Das Produkt kam gut gesichert und in einem Stück an.Es ist liebevoll verarbeitet und was mir besonders gut gefällt ist, dass er nicht ständig tickt. Er dreht den Kopf jede Minute - dabei gibt es zwar ein Geräusch von sich, aber das ist verkraftbar :)Der Ton am Ende ist sehr lang, sodass ich ihn auch quer durch das Haus hören kann (laut meiner Mum ist er allerdings zu leise - was ich selbst nicht bestätigen kann)Auch wenn man ihm auf den Kopf drückt kommt das Typische Geräusch für BB-8 (was ich einen netten Zusatz finde)Also wer ein nettes kleines Spielzeug haben möchte ist hier an der richtigen Adresse - auch zum Verschenken sicherlich geeignet :)

La parte seria della recensione è che funziona benissimo, arrivato perfetto. Poi bisogna dire che è troppo tenero e carino con i suoi suoni! Un regalo ideale per amici nerd che stanno prendendo casa, senza grande impegno!
