this needs nutrients in the water to work
thought it was broken but only tried in fresh tap water. after adding nutrients it does work well

Failed from water ingress.
Worked well for my purposes once. Measurement starts a bit high for seedlings and young plants, wouldn't register until about 0.8 EC not 0.4 as indicated. But at £25 can't really complain about that, my old bluelab truncheon was similarly curmudgeonly at very low concentrations.Bad point was it leaked and failed after one day last on its side with the cap back on. Opened the battery compartment and brown rusty water poured out. May need a bigger oring or a layer of heavy grease to support the fitted oring. Definitely store it hanging by the strap. Strongly considering a rebuy and preventative maintainance.

Absolutely rubbish
So bad I had to snap lid to get out then it failed miserably, really don’t bother a couple of dollars less and you’ll get a good one
