Truly Stealthy in how Good It Is
The Coda Stealth works as described and then some! The difference in mic levels is really noticeable when you plug this into your XLR microphone! It's so good that sometimes, I still have issues getting the input gains dialed in depending on what I am recording. Bottom line, with the Stealth, you won't need 100 to 90 input gain, dial it back and know that your input will come in louder and clearer! Go ahead and get one!

Did the trick + looks great!
After doing a bunch of research about why I was having low input levels with my new Shure SM7B Mic + Focusrite Scarlett Solo Audio Interface I decided to try a pre-amp booster. The stealth seemed like the best bang for the buck and sure enough it worked like a charm. The Stealth went in nicely between the Shure and the Scarlett and blends in perfectly on the boom arm so I don't have an extra box and cable sitting on my desk. I can now turn down the gain on my audio interface and get much more input from the mic than I did previously and with no extra noise. Really great product and less expensive than the Cloudlifter that was recommended to me.Very happy customer here, thanks Coda!

Works better than a Fethead
I purchased a Triton Fethead and really didn’t notice a difference in my XLR mic setup…as in next to nothing. I had almost given up when I decided to try this brand.I am running in in between two XLR cables so it doesn’t stick out if the back of my preamp or too far out of my mic so it was an easy install. Once it was plugged in…I immediately noticed a difference and it was 10 times better than the Fethead. I was able to adjust my gain down at least a quarter of the way, if not more. There is no noise introduced and my mic audio is clear and clean.Super happy with my purchase. Not only does it sound better and work better than a Fethead but it was also thirty dollars less expensive. Huge win in my book!

DOA
I had high-hopes for this based on the reviews. I plugged it in between an sm57 and a scarlett 2i2, turned on the fantom power and it worked for about 30 seconds. I heard a "sizzling" sound in my headphones and the signal dropped by about 24db. After that there was no signal boost and it was very noisy. I returned for refund and got charged a damage fee. It was defective. Why would I need to pay a damage fee?

Solid - no frills, just function
(I bought both the MB-1 and the MB-Stealth. The core of this review will be the same for both)I was looking to make an SM-48S hotter. I tripped over this, and - went for it.This isn't reaaallly meant for stage use, check the MB-1 (same company) if that's your goal. This plugs in inline straight into the bottom of the mic (or at the mixer end!) if you'd like. This *DOES* use phantom power, so if your mixer/preamp doesn't provide that, you'll have an issue. When unpowered, it's a straight pass-through.*for me* this is prefect. It's on a mic used for handpan and gong. I don't need shimmering high ends, I *do* need the bottom end not rolled off.Very nice implementation, truly plug & play. I figure that the electronics are the same in the MB-1, I didn't open them to check, as I'm returning the MB-1. I only need one, and I'll be keeping this one.Highly recommended. It does what it sets out to, and at this price point, you probably need more than one, just to have around. :)

Stealthy Gain Booster
I got two for a Sure MV7x and a knockoff SM7b. In both cases, it does what it says without introducing noise. But I do not have the GOLDEN ears others claim to have. I plug it right into the back of the mic and it looks ok. BTW you need phantom power for these to work. Very happy with these
