Button warranty issues hold back the 5-star on a great product
Product works great. Deserves 5 star. The vent really picks up a lot of grime which would otherwise be on my walls. The dishwashing feature is v helpful. Fan is loud but thats what is expected from a high powered hood. I give 3 stars because of warranty problems. I faced an issue with a light switch soon after purchasing it. It would get stuck and as a result, none of the buttons would work. The only way was to pop the light button with my nails and then things would work fine. (video can be seen here: https://youtu.be/EJdX8hmqFtI). I reported the issue to Proline and they gave me three technicians near my house. However none of the technicians were willing to do the job. It was bizarre. Most other appliance companies directly set you up with a local technician. I will keep the community posted on how this resolves. Without this issue, it deserves to be a 5-star product.
