My 12 yo daughter suffers from anxiety and has been waking a few times in the night and having trouble falling back asleep. I finally decided that we needed to try a weighted blanket so she can get proper sleep. When I first opened it, I thought for sure they sent the wrong one because a 10 lb weighted blanket feels MUCH heavier than a 10 lb weight at the gym! We weighed it though and it's the right one. I had thought about going up to a 12 lb. but I'm glad I didn't. She really likes it and says it feels so comforting to sleep with! Her sleep has been better too with it. I should have bought one years ago and kick myself now! My only disappointment is that one of the cover fastener loops came ripped out of the seam! It's one of the corner loops too which are the most important for keep the cover in place. I don't want to send it back and be without one while we wait for a new one. Otherwise, it's perfect - soft, effective and evenly weighted.

I had previously ordered the 15 lb one but I found it was too heavy for me. I sent that back. Now I did sleep soundly with that one however the issue was that it was too heavy when flipping over and folding. I figure i would go down some weight because the sleep I got with a weighted blanket was stellar, unbothered and complete. I never got up until morning. This 10 lb one is PERFECT for me. It is the kids one but im short and it works for me... i am 4'11". I haven't slept so good in all my life probably. Not too heavy but enough to make me feel "hugged" not suffocated. You will not be disappointed.It is NOT machine washable, only spot treat. like a lot of other weighted blankets. You can also find covers for them if needed. BEST PURCHASE on AMAZON to date.

So bought this for my son, but use it more than he does. It's a nice soft material not too heavy or hot. Loved the color. Would buy again if needed.

I wish it had a cover so it would be easy to clean. Otherwise it was nice.

Just enough on a cold night

A little heavy but during the colder weather I am sure I will like it more and more.

Got one for my 3 and 6 year old, they work great, I find them sleeping a bit better, the blankets are warm and comforting to them but don't over heat them at all. They are the perfect weight, without being too heavy.

I bought it for my five-year-old son without realizing the weight, it’s too heavy for him so it went to me! I love it, very relaxing!

We ordered a twin size, but it is much smaller than a twin size. It doesn't cover our little 9yr old.
