These are nice bags and a fantastic price. Work awesome, have used for many different items (fresh meat, veggies etc.)

These bags do not allow my vacuum sealer to pull all the air out. The bags that came with that sealer worked wonderfully. I’ve tried both the 11 inch and the 8 inch and it doesn’t pull the air out of the back of the bag and when it does seal, it lets more air in. My other bags worked perfectly. This is not going to prevent my food from freezer burning, which is the whole purpose behind vacuum sealing.Update: My vacuum sealer quit working altogether. I purchased a replacement and these work just fine in it. I've tried these in 4 different vacuum sealers trying to solve the problem and it turns out, my first machine didn't work on any bags after 2 weeks. These were the best value for bags I could find and they get the job done. Just hope my vacuum sealer replacement survives the hunting season.

Good value but had to re-roll onto another roll to fit my Foodsaver.

I use a FoodSaver vacuum sealer. The FoodSaver brand bags that came with the machine leak most of the time. I seal, and ten minutes later there’s air in the bags. Even double sealing.These bags have not leaked once. Not once.I double seal anyway, but no issues with these bags at all.TL;DR these seal great (for me at least) every time, brand name bags fail most of the time (for me at least).Your mileage may vary.

I've had my food sealer (Hamilton Beach 78213 NutriFresh Vacuum Sealer (purchased through Amazon) for about a year and a half now. It came with a few starter bags, but I also ordered this product since I knew I would need more bags. I use the sealer fairly frequently and have never had a problem with it. The first time I got low on bags, I ordered more of these. The next time I needed bags, I found another brand from Amazon (Keep Fresh) and ordered them for some reason or another.....possibly they were less expensive at the time. I NEVER got the Keep Fresh to seal properly. They would seem to seal well at times, but within a few hours, I'd check and there was alot of air in the bags and the plastic of the bags was no longer snug against the food. At other times, they would just never seal right from the get-go. Then I wondered if the sealer had stopped working properly, but decided that it would be a pretty big coincidence for it to stop working right at the same time that I happened to start using different bags. SO.... I ordered more Nutri-Lock bags and received them a few days ago. I went to the freezer and pulled out a package of Italian sausage that I had sealed a couple of months ago with the Keep Fresh bags. Of course, there was plenty of air in the bag. I opened the package and took two sausages out for that night's dinner. I re-sealed the remaining two in these Nutri-Lock bags. Guess what? Sealed perfectly. It was like deja-vu. Once I used the Nutri-Lock bags, I realized the difference from the very start. It's been a few days since I re-sealed the sausages in the Nutri-Lock bags and they are still perfectly sung. With the other bags, it would take no longer than a couple of hours for the bags that appeared to have sealed right initially to let in alot of air. My conclusion is that the problem was with the bags....not my sealer! I did specifically notice that the "waffling" of the two different brands of bags is the issue. The Nutri-Lock bag's "rough' side is way less "rough" than Keep Fresh's. Maybe the depth (?) of the "waffling"? Whatever the reason, I find these bags FAR superior.

I feel that price informs value and try to include the price paid in all my reviews. I highly recommend everyone do the same. I paid $9.70 per set in July.I got two of these last time they were on sale and am running out. Sure, the vacuum sealer is another countertop uni-tasker, but it's a game changer for freezing or Sous Vide. The pre-cut bags are super convenient, but not very economical. Using the rolls like these saves a fortune if you are using them a lot and I think you will.I've never had any issues with these breaking even during high heat Sous Vide'ing. Nor have I seen any sealing issues. I think the price is a bit high right now, but if you see these for around that $10 sale price, I would buy without hesitation.

Work great with my NutriChef sealer, bags look like they will hold up well in freezer.

WOW, I could not believe that I got these bags rolls at this price ( having said that, I hope they don't go up in price ). They are strong well made bags 2 X different sizes, but handy sizes. Speedy delivery, good product, nice price. What more can you ask for ?
