Good to go
Pricey, but i needed it. It works like it supposed to.

Must have for cummins powered equipment/trucks
If you do any programming on cummins powered equipment or trucks, this is a must have. This cable plugs in to the "backbone" connector. This connector is a private data line which only the ecm can travel on. Makes programming much safer. If you do a CM870 and want to program it don't use the backbone. Not sure why, but it boots ecm in rom boot mode

This works perfectly with the Nexiq data link I have. It works exactly like it’s supposed to.

Worked great. Kind of weird that it only works w/ Nexiq USB 2 . Was able to read an ISB Cummins in a non highway application from about 1989. No standard 1708 or 1939 round diag plug. Paid for it with that job. Customer happy. Probably never need it again!
