Worth getting
I love Karrimor hiking shoes/boots - I have had numerous different pairs from this brand, and they are the only shoes I’ve worn that have never rubbed or caused me blisters. However, I do find their sizing inconsistent. The three pairs of shoes I currently have from them are all different sizes! Normally, I am a size 5 and that was the size I bought for this style, but I do find them a little loose. I have to wear two pairs of quite thick socks to get them to fit which is a shame since these are my hot, dry weather hiking shoes (they are ok in damp conditions but not in truly wet ones). Having said that, I am quite happy with them as they are comfortable, not too bulky so they look good with shorter length trousers and have good grip. Just keep in mind that these run about a half size larger than normal.

Triple knot the shoelaces?
Bought this for my day to day walk in the park , to work and back. Had previously bought a larger 6.5 pair, the exchange process was painless and smooth to get a size 6 and postage was free. The shoes are comfy, they arent water proof due to the material and the manufacturer i think does indicate this. The one annoying thing is the shoe laces keep coming loose after walking a short distance , this is despite double knotting it, not sure if this is the experience of others but having been on several walks this has been a consistent recurrence. It is a shame as otherwise i'd say it's a great pair of shoes at a reasonable price of £34.03 which i paid for.

Deeply Disappointing
I've worn these shoes 4 times since purchase just before Christmas. The weather had always been dry. Yesterday (12th Jan) went for a long walk. Again the weather was dry but there had been rain overnight and the longish (3-4 inches) grass was wet. I'd add that the walk, over several miles, was not solely through wet grass. These shoes proved to be neither watertight nor waterproof. By the end of the walk the shoes and two pairs of socks were wet. Sadly not fit for purpose.

Medium terrain walking boot
Excellent product. I took previous reviewers advice and bought my right size a 7. I also have an insole in each boot so they had to accommodate that as well. They did comfortably. I wore them the day they arrived and have had them on most days since then. As I walk regularly on different terrain they have been out in all weathers, rain mud etc and have remained waterproof. They also have a good grip. Good buy for the price and couldn’t recommend them enough! I love Karrimor brand and my last pair were the same.

Little Tight
Bought for elderly mother who has been a size 5 for 60+ years, these were a little tight. Go a half size up from normal, especially if planning to wear thicker socks. That said, bought them so she can keep her footing through winter - broken hip is pretty much endgame at 75. She says they're excellent for grip, comfortable, and waterproof.
