Q: Is it possible to get a sample from the manufacturer of this tape? I'd like to try it out before purchasing.

Given that the tape is so inexpensive I doubt anyone will give you a sample. If I'm dealing with a corporate customer who buys 1000s then yes but to the public no.

Q: is this tape waterproof? good for sweating and /or swimming with wig on?

This tape is great if you sweat a lot..... I have a “condition” that causes my head to sweat buckets of water and this tape stays just fine. I have never swam in a wig so I can’t speak to that. If you are looking for a tape to hold for days and days.... this is it!

Q: Is this double sided ?

Yes. In fact all contour tapes that are made here in America are double side adhesive. Fake brand mostly sold here on the internet i have no idea about the quality.
