Kid O Myland Houseboat & Friends Light and Sound Interactive Bath Toy

The sounds are so realistic!

This is an adorable toy and our little girl loved it at first. But within days the light stopped working, and within just a few weeks the sounds also became a problem when it frequently started making noise at all hours of the day/night even without the figures being connected. So... now we have just a cute plastic toy that we don't put batteries in because it's not working properly. Mind you, we've only had it for about a month. If I was still within the return window I'd be looking to return it or at least swap it for another try.

The perfect toy for education and entertainment! We love this toy because of the realistic lights and sounds. As soon as we opened the package and added the batteries, our daughter became obsessed with the horn and boat-like noises. She loves to switch around the dolls to recreate the light and sound action. It's great for outside, the bath or the living room!

Our daughter loves popping the color coded people in their seats - occasionally finding a passenger for the third seat - and make believe with this awesome toy during bath time. She's delighted by the foghorn sound and the light in the middle of the boat - and understanding what makes each activate. Great engaging toy!

This boat is very sweet. The sound is nice and not at all loud or annoying like other toys. The soft light feels very realistic. The only downside is that it's kind of big for a tub toy. Overall, this boat is really fun.

HUGE bath time hit! We received this as a gift and our 21 month old son loves it. The light and music give an added touch to most bath time toys! - the cause and effect lesson is great!

Bought this back in Feb 2017. Kid loved it. But after playing in bath tub for less than a month, the sound and lights stopped working. Opened the battery compartment found out water leaked inside. Called the company and they sent a replacement. With the replacement we even tried sealing the battery compartment with silicon gel to make sure water doesn’t get inside again, but about a month or two later same thing happened, water leaked inside again. Now it’s just a very expensive non-interactive boat.

I bought this toy & returned it, thinking it was defective. I bought a replacement & same issues. Read the package & realized this very expensive battery operated toy comes without batteries. Kid O Mylabd toys depend on intuitive play that requires batteries for sound & light. This is the first (& most expensive; $48 in store) of their toys I’ve bought that doesn’t include batteries. I might be done with this brand.
