Razor Jr. Lil' E Scooter

We bought this electric scooter for our almost 3 year old daughter (29.8 lb.s, 37 in.s). It arrived yesterday and we let it charge for a full 17 hours or so before first use (supposed to let it charge at least 12 hr.s before first use). The pink one is extremely cute..... The package is much bigger than a normal jr Razor scooter. It took longer to take the scooter out of the box than it does to set it up. It is boxed in two pieces and all you have to do is snap the long bar right above the front wheel, clip one power cord to the other, and slide the cover down to cover the short cord. Took us less than a minute, unlike the other jr scooters (this is our 4th jr scooter). Our little one figured out how to use it on her own. When she pushes the button it starts off slow and then speeds up after a few seconds. She rides it while standing up or sitting down. She will mainly use the scooter indoors - in our family room, which has builder grade type carpet. She has used it in our foyer, which isn't carpeted, and the scooter is faster on that flooring. In my opinion, the speed is perfect for a 2-4 year old. Our battery lasted 20 or so minutes, which is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I didn't expect it to last the full 40 minutes because the motor works a little harder on the carpet, but I expected it to last longer than 20 minutes. Overall, it's a good buy and my little one loves it.p.s. (handlebar on e jr is lower than handlebar on jr)

Don’t waste your money on this scooter! I purchased it as a Christmas gift for my 4 1/2yr old grandson and he absolutely loved it for the short time it worked! I don’t know what happened other than after it’s fully charged, it won’t turn on. I read this in other reviews, but Razor was the only one I could find that was safe enough for his age group, so I took a chance. Unfortunately, they were right.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT purchase this scooter. I bought it for my 5 year old and it died within the same week. She only got to ride it about 3 times before it just completely stopped working! The charge light comes on when you plug in the charger, but regardless of how long you leave it to charge it does not run. Not happy at all.

Worst product experience I've ever dealt with. Ordered this brand new for son's birthday and after assembling and charging the product never worked... discovered that the brand new battery put in the product was cracked and scuffed up, looked like it had been run over by a truck. Contacted razor who sent a new battery which was received after about a month later and still the product did not work after being charged. Contacted razor again who then sent a new set of handlebars which a month later which also didn't work. Contacted razor again and was finally able to discuss with upper management the situation who unhappily said they will send us a new product but this one would not come with a warranty. After another month the product was received and worked for about a week and a half before completely not working in just as the other... do not waste time, Hassle and money on this product, worst experience ever and very disappointed with the brand

I should have listened to reviews on here about it not working after a month. I followed all the guidlines to a T. About a month and a half after him having it and loving it, it no longer will fully charge and barely moves. Very cool device garanteed to be a hit for any toddler. Unfortunately its noisey and like other reviews said it wears out fast. VERY DISAPPOINTED especially being its razor. I expected better quality from this company. Which is why I ignored the bad reviews thinking they as in the consumer was atleast partially at fault. But no the battery sucks and costs more than the scooter to replace.

This scooter is JUNK! Doesn’t work, you can hear the battery/motor running but it doesn’t move. The handlebars are SO low an average sized 3 year old will still want it higher and you can’t adjust it. It is a huge waste of money. I have never written a review for a product and it was so bad I knew I needed to. I will be returning this awful thing. My poor nephew was so disappointed!

The scooter is extremely loud, very annoying actually. I and my child couldn't stand the noise of it. Also it appears in the picture for the handle bar to be a good normal size, it's actually very very short and it is non adjustable. My Child is the average height and had to hunch down a little which made it very uncomfortable. It would be nice if it was adjustable to go higher and also if it was much quieter.

This scooter is VERY underpowered and is way too slow, barely moves outside in the street, especially if there is any sort of slight hill at all! My daughter who just turned 4 is very petite and it hardly moves her. This is upsetting because I’ve had a very good experience with the other razor scooters that I have bought my son! Only good for indoors on hard floors! It looks great and seems to be of good quality structure wise but I simply could not give it more than three stars due to its performance! Honest review, she liked it for a couple days in the house and once we took it outside she was bored quickly, irritated that it wouldn’t move good enough and we have never used it again!
