Can they be engraved on?

I doubt it, they are plastic (I don't know anything about engraving other than on metal).

What size battery do they use and can they be replaced?

A small watch battery, but don't know the size. There are 12 very small screws to remove to take the light apart. Would be cheaper and less hassle to just buy a box of them as needed.

Are the backs of these white and are they straight or have a slight curve

They are the same color on both sides and are basically flat except for a slight curve around the lightbulb.
