This topper would be a wonderful family heirloom and will last many decades if well taken care of. Uses no plastic, or painted parts. Measures 7" diameter and weighs approx. 8 oz. This topper is meant for a large sturdy tree 6-8 feet. THE GLASS AT IT'S THICKEST POINT, IS AS THICK AS AN AVERAGE PIECE OF TEMPERED GLASS. IT IS FLAT ON THE BACK. Some have felt that the clear glass gets lost on their tree....it would be best for a tree in front of a window, rather than in a corner. The wire is securely soldered deep into the back of the star and is NOT adjustable. I include care instructions and more tips others have shared to help it sit tight.
