BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Legend of Mana Remastered (Import)

I guess the only few problems I can find with this is, I've already played it and the graphics are rather old but it was released over 2 decades ago, but back then it was made by quality game programers and artists and music composers it was ahead of its time, thanks to the quality of artists from all aspects of the game.If you've already played it, it will be nostalgic, I know I feel it, the music the gameplay the occasional 2 player co-op you can setup I guess another bad thing about this game would be you have to find another character to play in co-op and when you lose a character due to storyline you will have to find them or a new character again to continue to co-op which is rather annoying, but it was made years ago and was mainly designed as a single player experience.I'd recommend following an online guide to play this game, so you can experience most of it in the first playthrough, or enjoy playing through normally how you would at your behest, then on your 2nd playthrough new game + you can use a guide to get everything up just google or rather startapage it.Its a decent remaster the music and special moves are all awesome its like reading a story book and playing as the main hero in the story that's how it feels like and it comes to life you can choose either male or female character at the beginning.without going into detail as I may end up spoiling something so I'll keep this short.Decent game that if they ever reboot and remake it keeping gameplay elements and an amazing soundtrack would have to carry over on the next gen consoles. the music is really that good, they could make it all in full 3D open world and perhaps an online co-op would be fun,The only problem with these remaster games from square enix is they do nothing for the colours or graphics mostly all the time and all they do is like it feels like I'm being ripped off since I got this game at full retail price 60 quid back in the day on import from US to UK and I've already played it so they charging how much for a repeat of a game with little upgrade? I feel like I should get the game for free because I own the original still on the ps1, lol damn you square enix!Still I give this game Legend of Mana a 4/5 it has plenty to keep you occupied if your an RPG fan of the old days.However I give Square Enix a 1/5 for monetizing old games at a high premium price with little upgrade to them, and also for messing my final fantasy 7 remake battle and aggro mechanics up.Lastly like to mention I've been playing games since early 1980's I consider myself a hardcore gamer I know whats goods and whats not good, (Legend of mana is worth a shot but only if your into RPG's).oh and this game version isn't American its from Japan it is a Japanese region game but it has English text subtitles and other various languages available, the problem here is if the game company decided to bring out DLC for the game you would need to make a Japanese account to download that DLC and maybe even use the Japanese account to be able to access that DLC.As Sony's bright idea was to region lock DLC on playstaton 4 maybe even ps5 too, though this might be government mandatory aspect of the gaming industry. This game will work on any playstation 4 console and doesn't have any DLC so technically you can use your USA account to play it I doubt it will get any DLC ever so its a solid buy in my opinion.Hope this info helps anyone and enjoy the game.oh.p.s/ you can listen to the music at the title screen and change between new arranged and old music on the fly. So there is that upgrade to look forward to.

Legend of Mana è la rimasterizzazione di un vecchio gioco anni '90, ma rimane ancora molto attuale.GameplayI combattimenti sono di tipo action, con i tasti per l'attacco veloce, l'attacco pesante e gli attacchi speciali, che consumano la classica barra delle abilità, ricaricabile combattendo. I nemici però sono preimpostati sempre negli stessi punti, e basta un cambio schermata per farli riapparire. Però gli scontri sono molto veloci.Tra le novità di questa rimasterizzazione c'è la possibilità di annullare i combattimenti non essenziali per la trama, opzione che personalmente ho ignorato, perché non so come si possano accumulare esperienza e denaro altrimenti.Naturalmente ci sono da visitare anche i centri abitati, con gli immancabili negozianti e PNG.GraficaGli scenari sono bellissimi da vedere, probabilmente disegnati a mano. Purtroppo non si può dire lo stesso dei personaggi, perché si è scelto uno stile pixel molto retrò, e questo inizialmente crea contrasto tra fondali molto ben dettagliati, nitidi e colorati e abitanti decisamente indefiniti. Ma è anche vero che dopo un po'ci si abitua.Una particolarità curiosa di Legend of Mana è che abbiamo la possibilità di personalizzarci la mappa del mondo. All'inizio ci verrà chiesto in che regione cominciare, e subito dopo in che punto preciso mettere la nostra casa. Con l'avanzare del gioco troveremo vari "artifact", oggetti che sostanzialmente sono villaggi e dungeon che ci faranno decidere in che punto della mappa collocarli. Però credo che una volta al loro interno, indipendentemente da dove decideremmo di piazzarli, non cambi proprio nulla.Se amate i jrpg vecchio stile non resterete delusi, ma devo avvertire di una nota dolente: nelle opzioni sono presenti tutte le lingue principali del mondo, ma naturalmente l'italiano NON è tra queste.

I've owned this game 3 times and beat it countless more. As systems kept updating this masterpiece got left behind. I was so excited to see it being re-released and am now playing through again. An amazing game with great visuals and several stories for every type of gamer.

Das Spiel ist toll wer die Welt von Mana kennt und liebt der wird sich (und seinen Verstand) problemlos in diesem Spiel verlieren können.Mein Tip:(Nach jeder Quest sofort zum Tagebuch und aufschreiben lassen, manche Quests kann man beim zweiten mal durchspielen nicht nochmal spielen)
