It looks awesome, has many features, is very accurate, and I'm sure this watch will last decades from what I've heard. I think this is probably the best watch you can buy, based on functionality and reliability (can't comment on how long it will last, but from what I've heard G-Shocks are incredibly durable and last 15-20, and even longer.The only real thing to ask yourself before buying this watch is: do I like how it looks? I personally love it. I love this kind of retro-digital kind of style. I also think this watch can be adapted to pretty much any form of attire, except from maybe very formal kind of attire. Even then, I have seen it adapted in some cases. It's not too chunky, but it looks like it can take a beating.FIT: As for the fit of this watch, for reference see the image I have attached. I have a small wrist. My wrist is only 6 inches. Despite this, the watch fits well on my wrist. If you have a small wrist like me, you won't have to worry about this watch looking too big for your wrist. Most people have around a 6.5-7 inch wrist. I have seen video reviews and whatnot, and it seems to look great on medium-large wrists just as well. So, in short, no need to worry about the fit of the watch!No problems with anything so far, and the battery arrived at high charge, which is great. If yours arrives on low charge, make sure to place it in front of a window for 3 or 4 days to let it charge up to at least medium charge. From then on, you can pretty much forget about it. The watch should constantly remain on high charge by you just wearing it. However, make sure you do charge it up if it arrives on low charge. I have seen a complaint about someone whose watch died in a short time. This is most likely because it arrived on low charge, and the person didn't realise so they just wore it normally from day one. I know it might be inconvenient, but it's a one time thing to do, for decades of use. You can probably expect to have to replace the battery 10-15 years down the line (only if it starts not being able to hold charge efficiently). By then, you'll probably have bought more G-Shocks, but it's nice to know either way.The takeaway is: I strongly recommend this watch. It is often described as 'the only watch you'll ever need' and I completely agree with that. This watch is perfect, unless you don't like its aesthetic. In that case, there are plenty of other G-Shocks that are just as great, with a different look. If you don't like the digital aspect of it, there are also quartz gshocks available.

Based on the 1983 original g shock with quality of life improvements. To name a few, Solar charging, power saving, auto set to atomic time, and even a date swap for people like me in the UK, etc. ("U" models) This watch will last decades and more. And all this for £100 or less? It's a no brainer. The only slight negative is the beep sound isn't as loud compared to other g shocks i own, but still decent.

My 1st G-Shock and I love it. Great comfort on the wrist. Brightness is fantastic and it can be set to 1.5 or 3 secs staying on. The weight on my wrist is nice and light. I’m pretty sure the durability is going to be great cos these watches are designed to be hacked around. The size is perfect and easy to read. Highly recommended.Bit of a pain to get used to all the features but any amount of YouTube videos will sort it out.

The resilience of G-shock is well known. This watch adds to this comfort and ease of reading in all conditions. The watch arrived very well protected in foam padding, inside a metal G-shock box. The watch is lightweight and reasonably thin that makes it sit well on ny wrist, even whilst wearing thicker winter clothing. The strap is soft and has a small shock absorbing section next to the watch attachments. On receipt, the watch was fully charged and set to European time (ie GMT +1). This was changed to GMT in 30 seconds by resetting the home city. It was also easy to adjust the date format to dd/m from the preset m/dd. The enclosed instruction manual clearly explains how to make these adjustments. The buttons are quite small but operable with bare fingers. They are shielded in recesses in the body which reduces the likelihood of accidental operation, but this makes them difficult to use whilst wearing gloves. The beeper is very quiet which limits the effectiveness of the alarm function. The stop-watch function is easily operated and measures up to 24 hours. A single button press operates a backlight that is bright and even. The solar and radio control functions are so effective that no battery or time/date adjustment is ever necessary (unless traveling abroad). After the initial set-up, this can simply be worn and relied on as an exceptional timepiece. Fantastic value.
