Heating element went out in the dryer this morning. Ordered replacement at lunch, when I got home at 4:45 it was here. Changed it out and was running by 5:15. Fit perfect.

Ordered on May 15, 2025 - 279838 Dryer Heating Element kit. Yesterday, July 14th 2025, the heating element already burnt out. Easy to switch out. Worked great when it worked, however due to the huge difference in quality vs OEM part, I will not be purchasing again, nor will I look to go through the trouble to get a warranty replacement.

Loved it so much, had to buy it twice because our dryer went out twice in a month. No really, it was easy to work with and did the job.

Just installed the replacement. It is working but it has only been 2 days. The last one only lasted 6mos. Heating element coil broke and welded itself to the body and grounded the dryer. Hopefully this will last longer, then I will update the rating.

GREAT KIT, easy to install, came with instructions. No problem as these fit my dryer perfectly. I paid $29 wife was ready to go buy a new dryer, so I just saved $600 or so by just replacing the kit. This kit installs from the back of the dryer, so removing the back is all that's necessary. If you have a different configuration then my dryer, there are extra parts and instructions for those. I'm very, very pleased as the quality of the parts are top notch, my dyer is working again. A house full of teens, is no place for broken appliances.
