I ordered this to add a bottom bolt to our side gate, for a bit of added security.It was really easy to install really like this actually came with two gate bolts. We've put one just in the middle and one right at the bottom - Note these are not locks they are bolts, but a padlock could be added if needed, however, for us these work great as is.Included in the package is everything that you will need when installing all you'll need on hand is a screwdriver. Please feel really strong and durable and last for many years.The ones I ordered are the 75mm ones which are a good size for what I intended.

Even then…They are good for keep a garden gate or a shed door closed shut, for instance, and they do this well. At 75mm long, they may not straddle grooved planks but a bit of flat wood underneath solves that.They are black coated as are the provided screws and should weather reasonably well.Yet again, expensive if you only need one bolt, but decent value of you need two. There is nothing overwhelming about these barrel bolts so 4 stars for them.

This two pack of heavy duty tower bolt in black colour coming with all need it to mount screws. So far I needed one because my old one in the bathroom broke a few days ago, but if there are two in the set, it's even better because I will always have a spare. Works with no any errors. Easy to use.Very reasonable price, only 6.95 at the moment.

Nice solid little bolt locks, I needed something a bit larger than what I have fitted to the barn door on my granddaughters tree house, the one fitted is too small and difficult for little hands, these are much better, not to big but chunky and easy to lock, having two I am fitting the other to one of my sheds which is also in need of a better bolt lock.

Nice solid bolts, heavy metal that doesn't deform under pressure.Black finish is well done and has no drips or blemishes. Should stand up to the rain well.Screw are well a bit chocolaty. too much pressure with the wrong screw driver head and it will mash up. make sure you are dead straight.But for 3.5 each, I cant complain or mark it down.Genuinely good gate bolts.

The sellers photo's are misleading as the bolts on the sellers page look far longer than the bolts I recieved. I have put a normal biro next to one to give an idea of size. Very robust feel and there is space once the bolt is locked to thread a thin padlock through so you can keep the lock in a locked position. Feels very strong, I have used one on the bottom of my gate and intend to use the other on our shed.

These are nice little bolts that fir in minutes. I feel that they are not as long as the images look, but the dimensions are correct.They don't "lock" and have no way to be locked, but they do help to secure.They feel strong enough and should last for quite a while. I've been meaning to put a bolt on my gate for the longest time and this went on in about 2 minutes, although I do need to remove the old clasp.
